I just signed up today and am interested in learning about why you are interested or decided to sign up to become a gold member.
I like the idea of supporting a good community.
What about you?

It took me a little while to take the plunge, but I'm glad I did! I mainly did it to support Mr. & Mrs. Bee, since they put so much work into the site. Also, because my browser blocks ads and I don't want to turn that feature off.
Plus, I hated seeing threads that I couldn't read

Yes, I can already feel the pull to find out what lies behind the golden bees. Haha.
I will have to wait until I get paid this month. But I really like the idea of really committing to the idea of wanting to be a part of this community, you know?

I was gifted gold by an anonymous bee, but I am grateful. I love the added privacy. It makes me feel more comfortable posting about more personal matters.

Rainbow- I could definitely see how the privacy could be really nice. I have seen when other boards have gotten a little out of control, so that extra safe space would be really special. (I witnessed when people from the knot would head over to the weddingbee. I never understood that).

Lol - sheer nosyness! It drove me nuts wondering what crazy stuff was being said in gold. Unfortunately, it wasn't as juicy as I thought!

i was gifted gold, but i love seeing more photos of kiddos (which people tend to share more of in gold threads!). i gifted another bee gold as well to pass on the love!

I was gifted gold as well, and am SO grateful. I wanted it but couldn't justify it at the time. I hope to pass it on soon! I love it for pretty much all of the above. Not feeling like I'm missing stuff, more privacy, more pictures, support the site (though i guess I'm not really doing that till I pass it on
).

It's not something that I can justify paying for since I'm unemployed, but I honestly don't feel like I miss out on much.

Wow. It's so wonderful that people are gifting. What a neat idea. I will have to keep that in mind when I start getting to know people.
Bees seem very supportive of each other and that's really wonderful to see!

I adore this community, and I like that Gold helps support all Mr Bee and Mrs Bee's hard work. I will absolutely renew in February

I was gifted gold - I have no idea from who but it's definitely nice to have somewhere to feel a little more secure to ask TMI questions, etc. I didn't even know until well after it happened because i always kept gold hidden lol

The community is fantastic and I wanted to support Mr. and Mrs. Bee in their amazing work and efforts. Also, the privacy functions are great and I like seeing what the Gold threads say.
