Depends on what for! My wedding set is platinum, which is my preference. For other nice jewelry (like prob anything over $500ish) I think I prefer white gold, especially if it is primarily diamonds (like diamond earrings or necklace or any sort of stacking band to go with my wedding set). But for costume jewelry and cheaper stuff I loooove gold.

I like both! My wedding set is platinum but I wear a lot of gold. I think it goes nicely with my skin tone.

Both! Silver/white gold for nice jewelry. Gold for costume/fun jewelry.

I used to prefer gold, but after I got engaged, I'm OCD about matching and now only wear silver jewelry!

I love and wear both equally. Some things, like navy blue, just have to be put with gold, IMO.

I like both but I really prefer gold. I really wanted my engagement and wedding rings to be in rose gold but we got engaged at the beginning of 2012 and the whole gold/rose gold trend hadn't hit our city yet (even though it was all over the fashion mags), so the jeweler was SUPER against it and kept saying I would regret it if I didn't get white gold or platinum.

I don't know why I listened! I love, love my rings, but I think I'd love them more in gold.

Do you mean color or material? For color, either, depending on the piece. For material, gold or platinum only. I used to have silver jewelry as a kid, and they always got bent out of shape or tarnished. I don't really accessorize, so the few pieces I have are nicer items in (white or yellow) gold, excluding my ering which is platinum.
