@winniebee: My favourites are a pair given to us from Gymboree. http://www.gymboree.com/shop/dept_outfit.jsp?pick=NONE&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374305287093&PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524445998505&bmUID=1347548788549&productSizeSelected=0&fit_type= They are thick and they are white with one frog on the top of each foot. They are so cushiony and they go with everything and I think N likes to look at the frogs. However, now that he's into 'standing' they are not so great if I try to stand him on our laminate wood floors (the ones with the 'slip-proof' things are better), but we usually play on blankets so it's not a big deal.
My 2nd favourite pair are ones that look like little shoes. They look like brown hiking boots. They also 'go with everything'.

I got the baby gap socks. They seemed to have the best rating of socks that I looked at.

I like Baby Gap white socks. I bought some from Circo socks from Target and they don't stay on.

The Trumpette brand socks were best, for us, at actually staying on LO's feet. But I feel like they stopped fitting around 6 or 7 months.

I wish I never tried to find the socks online for my reply. Now I want to buy things. Want this dino hoodie: http://www.gymboree.com/shop/dept_item.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524446011389&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374305284873&bmUID=1347548927053&productSizeSelected=0&fit_type=

@cvbee: I want to do fall shopping, too. T needs a fall jacket, has no warm hats, needs socks, little robeez.....I keep hinting to grandma about what he needs! We went to the outlets a few weeks ago and I got great basics from baby gap and carters, but he *needs* more. He definitely does NOT need sleepers, though.

@autumnlove: That's funny, the circo socks from Target are the only ones that will stay on E's feet.

Old Navy socks were the only ones DD would keep on her feet, everything else was off in minutes.

LOL. I bought a "nice" set and my favorites are 2 pairs from Disney store, and a set of 3 from the dollar store--the rest are at the bottom of some drawer somewhere and retired.
