So, my niece (who is also my goddaughter) is turning 3 next month. She's a very special little girly girl. When I asked her what she would like for her birthday she said "maybe like a little TV that's yellow." I'm not kidding.
Does anyone have any good gift suggestions? I should mention that this kid seems to have everything!!!

Kitchen Set? Or maybe a themed toy if she has a favorite TV show or character? Clothes - I think that's the parent's favorite gift!

My daughter turned 3 in August and she by far loves her new dolls and doll clothes, plays with them everyday and he dress up clothes, cinderella dress and ladybug wings and tutus.

I love giving books with a matching stuffed animal or toy.
Depending on how much you want to spend on her, American Girl has really cute baby dolls aimed for little girls 3+. They're pricey, but really high quality and age appropriate. They all come with books as well : )

I'm not sure your niece will like my suggestion, but I tend to get our nephew books for his birthday. I think there is such a thing as too many toys, but there isn't such a thing as too many books (my opinion, of course). BUT I'm a HUGE reader, so it's not a strange gift coming from me. If you're not a huge reader and neither is your niece's parents, then a book might seem strange, haha. Not sure I was helpful...

My DD is 3.5 and Amy's suggestions are spot-on for a 3 yo little girl. I'd also suggest a dollhouse or if she already has a particular one, dollhouse furniture. as a parent, i love when people give books and puzzles.

oh to add to the books suggestion... one of my relatives keeps giving us commemorative pop-up editions of classic books (for example, any dr. seuss book and "we're going on a bear hunt"). it's really great... my 3 yo loves all the pop-ups and playing with the flaps. it gives an already great book a nice, different feel and special bedtime story experience

dress up clothes and kitchens are good suggestions. how about magnatiles? they are a unisex toy that every kid loves.
or how about a scooter?
