When it comes to discipline/giving in, are you the good cop or the bad cop?

Hmmmm, we are both good cops right now. I think I need to start being the bad cop.

We both play the same sided cop! My mom was always the "bad cop" and it really wore on their marriage.... I pretty much refused this scenario from the beginning & was clear with DH that he was the leader & we were united in the discipline department. If DH is home then he implements the disciplinary punishment, if he's not then for the most part I do... occasionally I'm unable to in that moment since it's just me with both kids but I will handle it in some manner.

We're on the same side. Like @runsyellowlites: if DH is home he will handle discipline (not much now as she's only 12 months) And I'm on his side. When he's gone I'm the cop.
