DH and I have lived in Manhattan for nearly a decade, and yesterday we bit the bullet and moved to Queens After almost 10 years of living in less than 500 square feet, it feels like we are in a MANSION. We can actually climb in both sides of our bed, there's space in the living room besides a small path to walk through, and there's FIVE CLOSETS. A full sized oven! A balcony! A rooftop! An elevator! Granted, it's "only" 850 square feet which is probably tiny for most Bees, but we are thrilled.

And one of the best parts is that we're able to start getting little Nugget's room set up! DH put together the crib, and we'll actually have a place to put all the shower gifts.

The only thing that's going to take getting back used to is the city noise. We haven't lived facing a street for a few years, so I forgot how loud it was! I'll definitely get used to it, and actually prefer a little background noise. And the cats are thrilled to be able to watch all the activity on the street again
