I so look forward to monday mornings and checking my google reader. I was shocked to see though that I had 3-7 new posts from each of the blogs I follow. For some reason, it looks like it reset and is marking things as unread even though I read them. It also will not let me mark them as read!! So frustrating because I depend on my google reader!!

Yes!!! Mines being a jerk too. And I'll read something and next time I go back to google reader it shows up as unread again.

Ughhh so annoying! I wouldn't mind having to go in and manually fix it but it won't even let me mark things as read!

I haven't had any issues. Although one blog that used to show up in my reader around 9-9:30 hasn't been coming in until the evening. I checked the blog and they are still posting in the morning.

Mine reposted a bunch of posts from one blog so I thought it was a blog glitch but now I'm wondering if it was a google reader problem.

YES. I was just messing with it trying to figure out what was wrong. One minute I had 13 unread blog posts, read them all and then I go to another tab and look over and it said I had 149 unread. What?

ugh! Yes!! I am so annoyed, my other one seems to not have problems but my main one is a hot mess. I started noticing it last night and every time I open it there are 90-150 "unread" items when there should be 1-3.

So now mine is messed up. I had 60 unread posts and they were things I had read in the past week.

@Adira: I agree, I still have a bunch of unread stuff but its actually letting me mark it as read and hopefully saving it that way!

@Thehistoryofus: I think I'll have to see how the whole day goes, but so far the unread items I had this morning actually WERE items I hadn't seen before, and I didn't see any repeats, so it's off to a good start! I hope it's officially fixed!
