All the things you mentioned. But also that our toddler was super well behaved and happy today. Like BETTER THAN USUAL. On a holiday with guests! I had sort of expected the worst with all of the craziness and it was such a nice surprise that parenting today was much more joy than effort.

I had a similar talk with DH this morning. We have our two beautiful girls, a comfortable home, and are able to put a special dinner on the table and gifts under the tree, plus the tree was overflowing with gifts from our families to the girls. I have gotten annoyed about things here and there and spent half the day in the bedroom nursing the baby, but I'd say it's been my favorite Christmas ever.

Eta: oh! And the baby slept during mealtimes do I got to seat and eat hot food with my family. The toddler was so good and funny all day. And she loves her sister so much.

I'm so so grateful that we are able to live in our hometown - lots of bustling holiday traditions surrounded by friends and the absolute best family . I don't know how much longer we will be able to stay here (I hope many years but you never know!) so every holiday is special.

I'm thankful for two gorgeous, smiley girls and the most wonderful husband.

For our home, for our jobs, and perhaps most of all, for our health.

I felt so very grateful today, mostly that we could be with family and also that LO just had such a fun magical day! It was so wonderful.

My first Christmas being a Mama!

My LO was so excited and grateful for the little toys in her stocking and, at that point, she thought they were her only gifts (her mind was blown when we went downstairs). I just got me thinking about people who cant afford to give their children gifts and how painful that must be. All children should have wonderful and magical Christmases and I hate that some do not.

I'm grateful that we could give E an incredible time. I'm grateful for the wonderful families and friends we have, who also spoilt her and fill our days with love. I'm also grateful for no drama this year.

I am grateful for my kids. I saw how the people in our families who were not able to have children of their own looked at our kids this year and it made me so beyond grateful for them.

I'm grateful for a wonderful day with my husband and our sweet girls - who had the time of their lives!

I'm also grateful for my job, and my husband's job.

And my husband shocked me with my Christmas gifts this year, and I'm very grateful to him!!!
