@Mrs. Cowgirl: I think spam is its own animal. And you're not supposed to know what it is, though I'm saying its probably chupacabra.
And fried frog legs taste exactly like fried chicken. They even look similar.

I have also never had spam, but now i want to try it!!
I really like curry which I think most people in the US consider gross. I also enjoy sweet breads and pork belly when I go to nice restaurants.

I don't think I've ever had spam but apparently I need to try it!
@anonysquire: @highwire: My grandpa actually made an "olive tree" for holidays b/c we all eat black olives so much. It looks like a tree (think bonzai size) to put on the table and has toothpicks sticking out all over and you stick black olives on it. YUM!
My great grandma always made her mashed potatoes with a huge gob of mayo instead of butter/sour cream. If people see me make them, they tell me I'm sick. If they just try it, they think it's delish.
I also LOVE to dip my bacon in maple syrup. Salty+sweet? Yes, please!

I like a lot of internal animal parts. I also like shrimp heads. I used to eat packets of ketchup.
Spam is totally not gross. I just found out a few years ago, spam only has a handful of ingredients.

I have to revive this thread because LO and I just shared a PB&P (peanut butter and pickle) sandwich. Kind of unintentionally...
If you're curious--because admit it, you are!--it's awesome! You need crusty white bread, unsweetened PB, and sweet pickles (we had Wickles, but bread & butter work too). Mmmmm. Mmm, mmmm!

I think the only thing I love that people question are boiled peanuts. They are totally normal back home in SC, not so much in MD.

My family thinks that my love for anything pumpkin is gross. I also love Hungry Man fried chicken dinners and canned beefaroni.
I'm sure hubby would have a list of other things he thinks are gross that I love, too.

One thing I love that DH thinks is so weird is when we have leftover rice, the next day I love making rice with peanut butter and chilli oil. It is SO GOOD, it's become one of my comfort foods! You should seriously try it!!
DH grew up eating Spam, rice and ketchup. He said his mom made it for him. He says he likes it still but doesn't eat it because it's "bad" lol.
