@californiadreams: There should be a dunce's hat emoji
@Mrs. Champagne: I would have loved that but I don't have a car so would be a bit of a challenge...

I've been racking my brains trying to think of somewhere that's easy for everyone to get to AND good for kids to run around but I'm drawing a blank. October is a bit unpredictable for weather!

@travelgirl1: same with the blank. It's going to be tough keeping Liv happy while we sit and chat. I'm thinking it may be a Daddy morning.

@Mrs. Champagne: blue mountains is about 2.5 hours from downtown, that would be a tough one for us. Sounds like fun though!

Ugh. There's a play place at Yorkdale but it's closed for parties on the weekends. DD would tear Chapters apart. If she breaks it, I don't want too buy it!

Although I am willing to try Yorkdale, I will try to think of more-toddler friendly options too. The things that come to my mind now are the Ontario Science Centre and the ROM. Both are not too pricey.

@oliviaoblivia: I was also thinking maybe we could rent the space for a "party", but I have no clue of the prices and my gut tells me it would be pretty pricey, even if we all agreed to chip in.

@californiadreams: my thought too. Does the city have gym space at community centres or anything?

If my way was more convenient, a pumpkin patch would be sooo much fun with them all!

    @Beebug: heyyyy awesome!
A pumpkin patch would be awesome. There are several up near me that have hay mazes and things like that.
@californiadreams: science centre is awesome! Or a play place/gym room.

So we're looking for something that's 1. Easily accessible for those who don't drive, 2. Kid friendly and 3. Reasonably priced.

Love the suggestions- I'll do some research too

Depending on the day I am in too! I have been dying for a little relaxing trip on the train before LO #2 and this would be perfect

@prettylizy: are you a train girl too?

@Mrs. Tea: solo or with one kid, sign me up. 2 kids in tow, I would need the van for 1. Space (stroller playpen clothes etc) and 2. The video screen to keep E seated for 4 hours without complaint!

Is anyone willing to go to the zoo???

@Rubies: potentially... We did it on the bus recently and it took forever to get there and longer to get back. Maybe though!

Just looked at the Science Centre and the zoo- and admission is pricy. It's free for kiddos two and under, but around 25$ for adults. I probably couldn't swing that when adding in travel costs (and a baby who naps at noonish).

I would be up for the zoo as I don't live that far and can drive. I totally understand how it could be a pain for others though.

@Mrs. Oatmeal: oops. I never actually looked at the cost of the science centre, I just assumed it would not be bad because the ROM was like $10 or 15 (I think). I would totally do a stroller nap for my noon baby to get more time in. I think if we go to Yorkdale I will take advantage of a stroller nap and do some shopping after the meetup

Yes I will have to stroller nap regardless, I think - I do that most days anyway, terrible napper over here

The ROM is $15 and there is a ton for kids to do, but I imagine difficult for people who live outside of the city.

@californiadreams: I've never been to the ROM. Totally willing - and probably easier for some than Yorkdale (from the kiddo perspective).

@Mrs. Oatmeal: We were there today, the second floor has a huge toy area with books and costumes, there are fossils to touch, animals to see, tunnels to crawl though, specimens to look at under microscopes... Lots of fun!

@travelgirl1: @Mrs. Oatmeal: I have no idea what this is, but it sounds fun! We will stroller nap regardless, because she sleeps 6 billion times better that way

Won't be able to make it since I will be recovering from my surgery. It would be a 4hr trek for me so I'll have to postpone until the next meet up. Wish you all the best, I'll be thinking of everyone.

I am up for anything at any time as long as you mummies are okay with a non-momma hanging around wanting to play with all of your munchkins lol
