High: Enjoying my coffee and cuddling the doggy while LO naps. Big family dinner tomorrow!
Low: LO had a huge spitup AND dog peed on a pile of clean laundry so it's going to be laundry day all day long.

High- not getting mistaken for the help at the hotel breakfast like last time. I purposely showed up with wrinkly pants instead of my suit.
Low- almost running into a car that was kind of in my lane (we were both wrong) & having two maps send me the wrong way adding an extra 25 minutes on the road

@aprk: Happy Birthday!
Low: Monday night, A woke up six times between 11pm and 1:00am. And then woke up again at some point in the middle of the night. I don't even know what time it was because I was too sad/bleary eyed to look.
High. LO slept from 9:30pm to 7:30am! And DH and I had a date night that involved a bit too much wine, but it was great to have some time just for the two of us.

Low: Monday and Tuesday I worked 12 and 15 hour days
High: tomorrow is our town's big yearly parade! I'm so excited - I love parades!

Low: our lab ate something and had diarrhea all over our bedroom floor in the middle of the night, during the precious 2.5 hour stretch LO usually gives me to sleep. This facilitated an emergency call to the carpet guy, and it cost $$$
High: Watching LO learn so many new things each day! He started giving DH HUGE smiles this week, and is working on the beginning of a giggle. I love it!

Low- LO has been sickly and even less able to sleep. 3-4-5x wake ups a night.
High- got unexpectedly squeezed in with my hairdresser. I only go 2-3 times a year and I love that confident, fresh cut feeling, especially for job interviews.
@mrs. wagon: I can't wear my contact anymore because of minor dry eye- it hurts and is irritating, but worse is that it makes me feel exhausted by noon. I believe you when you say it affects everything!
@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: LOL. Hilarious that you were setting them up!
@runnerd: @chibee: you guys are inspiring me to get back to a workout routine- I know it will make everything better. Thanks!

Low: my 5.5 month old FINALLY rolled over for the first time yesterday from back to front, and I missed it cause I was at work, and felt like a terrible mother missing her son's milestones.
High: he rolled over yay!! And apparently nobody saw it, so that made me feel better. My DH's aunt put him on his piano facing up and she said when she came back from washing the bottle he was facing down. Made me feel a little less guilty!

Happy Friday!
@aprk: happy birthday!
Low: Our household has been sick with a lovely cold/infection the LO brought home from daycare. We had family visiting from out of town but it was hard to enjoy because I was so sick and then had to miss work and use up my precious PTO.
High: Getting my hair done and spending a sick day relaxing and watching tv on my own.

Yay! Happy Friday!!
Low: DH has worked 10 night shifts in a row. That means I get to take care of the kids 24 hours a day. Yes, they do sleep but BOTH of them have had sleep problems this week. Serious sleep problems. DS only had 5 hours of sleep last night thanks to his active imagination (scared of the dark).
High: I decided to splurge on myself. I needed new clothes and make-up so, cheers to me. Lol.

@aprk: Happy Birthday!
Low: Very stressful at work and at home. DH is stressed with his work and it stresses me out, took Tuesday afternoon to help him out which only took away from time I needed at my desk. I've been spending the last three days without breaks, coming in early/leaving late to catch up, ugh. Rough week.
High: it's FRIDAY! we're going away this weekend to have some fun, can't wait

@aprk: Happy Happy Birthday Day!
@Foodnerd81: Oh my gosh! Congratulations on your little girl!
Low: Wednesday was just a shit day all together. Little sleep, cracked my iPhone screen trying to cover E's ears when a fire truck was going by, later he literally played in his own poo (which he had done, unknown to me, more than once under the kitchen table, and I went to sleep with a raging migraine.
High: I wish I could post a video of it, but I think little bit flashes his little bits a few times. He was running around after his bath last night with a towel and holding it up and covering his face and playing peek-a-boo with me! And giggling hysterically. He also properly used a spoon for the first time last night, and slept a good, solid 11 hour block! Yesterday was a MUCH better day!

High- we have our birth class tomorrow!!!!
Low- my dr's office isn't working today, so they have my glucose test results, but no one can tell me until Monday. IF I have to take the 3 hour test, I can only do that on Tuesday because I go back to work on Wednesday. Grrr.

Alright, I'm changing my low. I tried to make a stupid easy box cake for DH's birthday. It broke in half when I took it out of the pan and looks like crap. I know I'm being hard on myself but I'm so tired of not being able to do anything properly. I guess I thought I'd be super mom by now

@banana: Not for school, no. She has gotten aggressive to the point that we are needing to consider ways to keep everyone in the household safe. It is unfortunate, scary, and heartbreaking.

@bookworm: can you think of a way to make it look like the break was intentional? If round put the pieces together and ice it like a watermelon or something. Don't be too hard on yourself, you have a lot going on with little sleep.
High: I got my hair cut & colored, it was very much needed.
Low: DD is being very defiant with me. I'm just hoping that it is 3 year old independence.

Low: LO's sleep has been terrible this week. His longest stretch at night was 2 hours. I'm exhausted. Plus, he hates taking a bottle so DH can't even feed him.
High: DH took Wed off because he knew I was at the end of my rope. I was able to take a nap and get a pedicure.

@purrpletulips: DH tried to rescue it when he came home from lunch (I may have been sobbing about said cake in the bedroom...helloo hormones!!) but it's a disaster lol. Oh well...probably still tastes ok.

High: looks like people started buying baby gear off our registry that means my shower must be getting close right?
Low: Got the estimate from Lowe's about the carpet we want to install in our basement and its almost double what we were hoping to spend.... back to square one and we really need to get the basement finished in the next 3 weeks

Low: LO's naps have totally gone to crap this week. That, paired with her refusing to nurse sometimes caused a complete emotional breakdown resulting in my DH sending me a quiz about PPD
High: it's a long weekend for us!! So happy to have DH home on Monday

@Mrs. Twine: Hugs mama! How hard Thinking about you guys!
High: We're leaving in an hour to go to the beach!!! Also, E has been such a joy this week. He's growing up so fast and I just fall more and more in love with this little boy he's becoming!
Low: DH isn't coming down to the beach until tomorrow night so we're going to miss him a lot tonight.

@mrs. wagon: i have chronic eye dryness as well, and towards the end of my pregnancy I went for a checkup and the eye doctor was surprised that it cleared up. I had not needed to use drops in months. She asked me if I had been taking omega 3 oils with my prenatals, which I had been, and she said that was the reason.

High: DH got a new job, good because "WOO" a job with more hours than his current job, and BOO because it means less time with DD's. And we went to the fair just as a family last night. We always go places with other couples or families. It's nice to have just family time. I love it.
Low: Major medical emergency regarding myself on Tuesday!

High: I had a pot luck dinner to attend last night and I managed to prepare the first meal I've made in like five weeks - yay for being almost out of the first tri!
Low: lying to my friends at pot luck about whether we were having any luck TTC. We're not telling til after our next scan so I quickly changed the subject. I hate lying though, cannot wait til we can tell the world.
