What have they been to?
A coworker was telling me today that she took her 10 year old to a pro hockey game. She wasn't thrilled with it and her son wasn't a fan of all of the violence. I don't think they watch sports at home so seeing the game live was a shock to them!

We've taken both to a MLB and MLS game. The oldest has also been to an NHL game.

We've taken her to a few baseball games (Mets and Cyclones). She sorta pays attention but I mostly go for the food.

Yes to a college football game and a pro football game. She was under one. I likely won't take her for another couple years too

@katsupgirl: we went to a Cyclones games too! Also amateur hockey. We had to take off early both times, DS couldn't sit through the whole game... but at the same time he was impressed enough that he still talks about it a year later!

My 4 yo has been coming to men's and women's college basketball games and football games since he was newly 2. He really enjoys them--especially the band. It's not a huge school, so it's not too crazy, but it's a fun atmosphere.
No pro sports nearby.

We took our kids to a MLB game when they were 22 months and 4 months. They loved it and we stayed until I think the 7th or 8th inning.
We've taken them to several college football games, but I feel like they are a little harder because the crowds are louder. We usually head back to the alumni center and watch from there around halftime. They totally get into the experience though!
We are going to go to a college basketball game next week!

Sporting events, no. I think my son might like to see a few rounds of pro golf and maybe a bit of football.

We took them to a minor league baseball game this summer (6m and 3.5y). It did not go well - it was too loud for D (3.5y). So we'll be waiting a bit for any pro or college games.

We only have collegiate in our state, but our girls have been to the university's gymnastics, basketball, softball, baseball, and we've done stuff at the football stadium but not a "real" game. Those are extremely crowded and I don't think the girls are old enough. We are avid followers of our state's team so we are raising our girls to be too

They've been to my husband's college's football games for three seasons now. We try to make it to halftime, but it doesn't always work. They are champion tailgaters though, and have been doing that since they were 4 months old! We basically consider it our greatest parenting achievement that we once got both kids to fall asleep on us and then transferred into our Tulas in the middle of a football game.

DS1 has been to four college football games and one college basketball game and two minor league baseball games! DS2 was there for all but two of the college FB games. This year we did two FB games with a 4 yo and a 19 month old. They went surprisingly well!

We have season tickets to the Mets. The 2 year old I think went to 6 games this year, some just him and dad. The baby went to 4. It can be a lot of work. The games that just DH and I go to are much more relaxing but we have fun taking the whole family. We make sure to bring snacks and a few little toys to keep him occupied and we also take time to walk around and stretch out the legs.
Trying to get to a Rangers (hockey) game this year but they are mostly all night games so that is harder to do.

Only to the local minor league MLB games. But LO did get to run the bases, which she was realllllllllllly excited about!

We started taking J to pro games when he was 4 months old. He was staying up for double OT NHL games by the time he was 1 but we're a sports family and he fits right in!

DD has been to 1 MLB game! She was 2 months old at the time, and stayed in the Ergo most of the time and slept!

LO1 has been to 2 college baseball games - we've been going once a year. I think when he's four we'll join the kids club there and will go more often to games. Hoping to make it to a Durham bulls game this next year.

Lo has been to 3 or 4 baseball (mets) games. She doesn't really watch the game but can sit through about 4-5 innings when distracted by food and all the fun things to look at
