anybody has a product that they recommend? My daugher's hair is so sleek and fine (shouldn't complain ...right?) so it's slippery when I attempt to braid. Any texturizer... or how do you do it? Any youtube video suggestion for easy braiding? (I can only do a simple braid.. not even a french braid...

Hair always braids better when it’s dirty, so for example my mother wouldn’t let me wash my hair the day before my dance recital so that my French braid would be tight.
As I got older, and even now I do my hair wet; same for my daughter. So do it right after bath or shower OR get a spray bottle with water to wet dry hair.
Learning to do hair takes time but you will get it! If you can do a regular braid you can French braid. Watch a few YouTube videos!

My youngest has thin fine straight hair. I also just wet the brush to french braid it. I do a little top half side kind of thing to keep her hair out of her eyes. Its not perfect but it does the job. I wash their hair pretty much every night. FYI, thick hair with cowlicks isn't much easier to braid!
