Do you wash your babies every night? Also, how often do you wash their hair? We give our baby nightly baths, and I was telling DH I'm not sure that we should wash his hair so often. Though, most days he gets spit up in it, so I feel bad not washing him! What do you do about washing your baby?

I wash her and her hair every other day, unless she's really dirty for some reason. Usually if she gets a bath or shower two days in a row, I won't wash her hair with soap more than once. Sometimes I will even have her go two days without a bath if I'm busy or not feeling well; I give her a sponge bath instead.

Daily during summer... Every other day during winter. We just let him play in the water on non hair wash nights.

Absolutely not. I still don't regularly wash my preschooler's hair in anything other than just water. As a baby, and now, she just didn't and doesn't get that messy. If she'd been the type to spit up I might have.

so I feel bad not washing him. But I also don't want to dry out his scalp since he still gets a bit of cradle cap.

yes. every day. but usually she has gotten at least some form of food in it. And if it gets even remotely wet in the bath, I'll have to wash it or else it would be a tangled mess.

We do a bath every night because it's part of his routine and settles him, and he looooves his bathtime! I only use bath wash every other night, and alternate with aveeno baby oatmeal bath. I pour the water over him and his hair and it does a nice job of gently cleansing and moisturizing his skin.

My son (who is 2) gets his hair washed every few days. My DD (5 months) gets a bath every other day and I wash her (very little) hair like once a week. She's a baby so she doesn't get very dirty.

no--we only bathe LO every other day, and we don't shampoo his hair each time, mostly rinse. it's pretty dry in our house and LO has a tendency to get eczema, so most nights it's just water, no soap.shampoo.

We did for a long time because she got food in it. Now if it's clean, I let it be. She usually gets it all wet, though.

we did when they were babies but now that they're older, we do a bath every other night.

8 mo and we have always done baths (and wash hair) every other night. She has sort of dry skin and I think washing her more often would dry her out. And we SAH so she doesn't really get that messy.

We bathe our baby maybe once a week because I don't like the way it dries out his otherwise perfect skin. We do "spot cleaning" with cotton balls or wet wipes if he's somehow managed to get milk in his ear or something.

We did baths every night and hair wash every night for a long time. Now that he's a bit older and puts his hands in his hair less often, we give baths every other night unless he's super messy. Daycare leaves the kid pretty sweaty though so... a lot of nights he gets a bath.

We do bath every night (part of his routine), but have recently switched to washing his hair every other night b/c he has such a dry scalp in the winter. I usually do conditioner as well on the nights that we don't wash.

We do baths most nights but I only wash her hair once a week. She has very dry, textured hair so I will wet it, condition it and comb it out every few days between washes. That gets the chunks of playdoh and food out
so I feel bad not washing him. But I also don't want to dry out his scalp since he still gets a bit of cradle cap.
