That's great!

Woohoo!! LO hasn't quite attached yet to any particular item but if and when she does, I'm definitely buying back-ups!

Thankfully, the only 'lovey' that DS has attached himself to is the A+A blankets. Based on their popularity, I doubt they'll ever go out of stock and he isn't particular on the pattern. So long as he has one he's a happy camper. We've started calling him Linus at times - "There goes Linus with his blanket." It's awfully cute to have a toddler toddling down the hallway with the huge A+A blankets trailing behind for a good foot!

@BabyBoecksMom: Aaaawwwwwww we've got blonde curls too. Isn't it stinkin' adorable? Don't you love it?

I had two glo worms, seriously! It was so smart to have a second one when we travelled or whatnot, just in case!

I have heard some people rotate their spare loveys in and out so that one isn't more noticably worn than the other.

@BabyBoecksMom: those look so cozy. do you mind if i ask how much? olivia loves to smush her face into this blanket - http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=12633436 - when we snuggle on the glider. but I'm too paranoid to let her have it in her crib yet. the A+A ones she'll suck on, but they just don't cut it. lol.

@darget: we have 3 of DD's lovey and when she was in daycare I rotated them: one at home, one at daycare and one as a back-up. Each week, I'd put the one from daycare into the wash, put the one from home into the daycare bag and get out the back-up; once the wash was done that one went into the back-up slot. Now that DD is 3yo she knows we have multiple ones but I have to say that having a spare at home was a lifesaver when she had a stomach flu and lovey got sick too. Now that she is with a private sitter one stays with the sitter.

DS (7m) hasn't attached to a lovey yet but we will make sure we have at least 3 of them if he does.
