Happy Halloween! Does anyone want to share costume pictures? I would love to see them!
In early September DD decided to be RBG. She contemplated changing once she found out about her death, but she decided to stick with it. I’m so glad!

I was just coming here to start this thread! A weird year - I would say only every 3rd or 4th house was doing candy. We build a candy delivery tube, and the kids used their robot grabbing arms to add a little social distance, but despite the weirdness my 6 year old told me it was the best day ever.

@erinbaderin: love it! Glad it was still fun even with the weirdness! We skipped trick or treating but drove to see all three sets of grandparents - who gave her more candy than she has ever gotten trick or treating! So still a win!

We had a great Halloween! I told the kids to keep expectations low, that we’d just wander the neighborhoods and see what looked safe. I was pleasantly surprised at all the safe setups our neighbors had done. So many creative ideas! The kids loved it! The only bummer is they didn’t really get to show off their costumes and they were so excited.

The boys had a great time! Our neighbors had very safe set ups and the weather was perfect, cool but not cold and not raining and just a perfect fall evening.

Here's our little duck! It's her favorite word.
She's too little to know any different, but she had a blast doing a halloween trail at nature center, and a drive through parade. We stopped by my sister's house to trick or treat.

Everyone’s costumes look great!
We stayed home, and we had another couple and their kids over to celebrate. The kiddos costumes are an array of hand-me-downs. We had a great time!

Not technically her first Halloween, but last year Halloween was the day we came home from the NICU. We didn’t do anything, except set up a candy table on our porch, but I feel super proud of both the idea and the execution for our astronaut.

Everyone has the cutest costumes! My kiddos went as a pair of "Fancy Nancy"s. Like some of you have said, I was shocked by how amazing our neighbors did with socially distanced trick-or-treating. Almost every other house had safe candy hand-outs.

@Mrs. Starfish: love theses outfits! I knew exactly who they were without even reading your post. Well done!

@catgirl: we had a RBG at our house as well. I gave the nudge to my 9 year old and am so glad I did.

Love seeing these pictures! Lots of great costumes!
@MamaG: That's awesome! I'm so, so glad that DD decided to stick with it. She said it was even better than being a superhero.
