Who has tried it? I almost got it today at the store but I didn't want to spend $5 on yucky ice cream.

Oh my gosh I looooooove it! I've been eating it for almost a year now and it's delicious. So creamy. I can't even choose a favorite flavor- I pretty much love them all.
I lived on halo top after my oral surgery! So good.
Highly recommend it

I don't like it and won't buy it again. The texture grosses me out but I've only tried the mint chip and birthday cake flavors!

I have been curious to try it, looked it up... it has sugar alcohols in it. Digestive nightmare for me! I'll steer clear.

love it! I bought the oatmeal cookie and some other "healthier" ice cream brand chocolate flavor at the same time and the Halo brand was waaaaaaay better. Tasted like regular ice cream to me

I love it! But it's definitely diet ice cream and way better if you let it sit out a few minutes. I always look to see if it's on sale.

Yes I love it but agree it's definitely not quite the same as full fat ice cream. I'm doing WeightWatchers right now and 1/2 cup of Halo Top is only 2 points, so that is an amazing snack! My grocery store carries every flavor, but it is expensive!

Maybe I just chose the wrong flavor but I think it's gross.

I am curious about it but always seem to be pregnant or nursing. Has there been much research on the safety of Stevia? I have avoided it because I just don't know much about it.

@skipra: from what I've read, it's completely safe and natural. It also has no glycemic index so I recommend it to all my diabetic patients too. I'm pregnant and eat stevia nearly daily, I sweeten my plain yogurt with stevia instead of sugar.

I don't like.it. I've tried a few flavors and just doesn't do anything for me. I really can't have milk based products anymore, so when I tried it, I took a gamble on my stomach. I still had issues with it later. I'll stick to my Ben and Jerry's almond milk ice cream.

Funny - I just bought some today after seeing good reviews from a couple people and then it was randomly on-sale at WF. So we'll see! I bought 2 different kinds to try, and will definitely remember to let it sit out!

I love it! Especially when I'm calorie counting to lose weight (currently pregnant so I'm not). To me it's a guilt free treat and I can eat an entire pint for 280 calories.

I'm eating the red velvet one right now! It's good!
I also like the birthday cake and oatmeal cookie flavor.

I kind of like the flavors but it gives me a weird, bad mouth tingling feeling that I can't quite describe. Something is just off for me.

I love it. Vanilla, peanut butter cup, mint chip and oatmeal cookie are all faves. Of course it's not talenti or Ben and jerrys. But it is pretty darn good for something that isn't a major calorie hit, has protein, and doesn't feel like air in your mouth.

My local grocery store finally started carrying it this week. I picked up cookie dough (my favorite flavor of any ice cream) and I am a fan.

I might try it. I don't really eat ice cream because I have very sensitive to cold teeth but I am intrigued.
Does it have that sweetener aftertaste? I avoid aspartame because of that aftertaste, am curious if stevia is similar in that respect.

@looch: It doesn't have an artificial aftertaste, I'm super sensitive that flavor and I really like Halo Top!

I really like the oatmeal cookie and vanilla ones! I've tried birthday cake and lemon cake also and those were just okay. They're a little expensive but I like that I can eat a pint and not feel too guilty!
