I like them, but prefer more tailored clothing so I don't look like a whale.

I have one pretty close to the 2nd one i bought last year at express.... so comfy! sometimes I belt it to define my waist a bit more

I like them if they have a band below the bust so that it looks less like a tent. Not sure if thats still considered 'hankerchief dress', but that's what these were called too!
