There was a DOB on the adoption form from the shelter... that's the only reason we know.

We actually know both birthdays! They were on their medical records. December 5th and May 12.

@mrsjyw: The only reason I remembered is because my dog has a facebook account and my friends wished my dog a happy birthday. Haha.
Yup... I'm that dog owner that makes FB account for their dog. Kinda ashamed...
My husband was embarrassed at first but it's come in handy at times.
In my defense, she is a traveling dog so I love seeing where she has been and the pictures we take of her. It's like an online photo album just for my dog.

I had a guesstimate from the shelter: Jan 2007. I adopted him in June of that year. My little brother gave him a birthday though. January 21.

No idea. We don't even know how old she is..... somewhere between 1 and 2 years we think. We knew our last dog's birth month, but not birth day.

I was told a DOB when I adopted him from the shelter, he was 6wks to the day they said, but I took him for his first vet appt after & they said there was no way he was six wks, he was younger & they said shelters fudge the dates sometimes when they're running out if space & they need to move some kittens along since 6wks is the earliest they're supposed to have them available.

Yes! She was born on our wedding day! It wasn't the reason we got her, but when we found out it all just seemed meant to be.

My dog was bought from a breeder as a puppy and changed owners twice before we got him (I dont know why. Hes the best dog in the world), the last one being a neglectful household. The owners kept up with his paperwork and we have it now. He was born February 21, 2009. My due date is actually February 21, 2014.
We also adopted him on our wedding anniversary, although we didn't know it was our anniversary then. He was definitely meant to be ours!

May 11 and October 18 for our dogs. Our kitty was dumped in our neighborhood so he only has a "gotcha day"

Lots of August pets! Our dog just turned 6 years old on August 2nd, and one of my cats will be 8 years old on August 10th!
This is especially funny for us because DH's birthday is 8/8 and mine is 8/12. There are a lot of presents up in here this time of year -
Our pup just turned 2 on July 10, we don't celebrate really, but we do get her extra special treats and toys for her bday.

Yes, her bday is 6/29! She was definitely the dog for us because my bday is 4/29, and DH's is 7/29. 29 is our lucky number
