I went with DH to pick LO up from daycare today. Her teacher put her hair in little pigtails. It was SO cute and they even matched purple barrettes to her purple top!!! I love that little girl; she makes everything better.

J started doing "this little piggy went to the market", his rendition is just, "da piggy, da piggy, da piggy, wee wee home!" It kills me. He is definitely happy and wonderful in my life!

I think I might be in early labour - 3 days late and I hope to be able to meet my little babycakes soon. Happy (but scared), happy (in a bit of pain) happy (mostly just excited!!)!!!!!!!!!

I signed B up for t-ball today and he's so excited - it most definitely made my day. All of the flowers outside are blossoming too...I'm so ready for spring.

@HLK208: the youngest I've seen for any organized activity is 3. Except for swimming some people said they found soccer for 18 months or gymnastics- I couldn't find any here that young.

My DD cried when we had to say bye to an out of town friend's baby today ... Even though she gives me such a hard time lately with her emotional outbursts, I know she's going to be a good friend and great listener some day because she really cares about people!
I want to see a pic of those pig tails!

We took DD out for her fist ever ride on her new balance bike today (her official 2nd birthday!) and it brightened my evening for sure!

My incredibly sweet stepdaughter sent us all letters in the mail today, including one to her baby brother about how much she loves him and how she "can already tell" he's going to be a really good brother

The daycare center that was #1 on our list has an immediate opening. E and I went and checked it out today, and was super impressed. Still my #1 choice. D is going back with me on Thursday for a sit-down with the toddler room teachers (today was a tour and Q&A with the director), and if D agrees with me he'll be able to start next week, ahh!
Also, it's adjacent to a big mall....

Today was a fantastic day! My husband and I have been living apart for 6 months because I've been stuck at this really awful, horrible job. Today I just found out that I get to leave my job on Friday, 3 weeks earlier than expected to go be with him. I'm so so happy!

The lady who drew my blood today was a total rockstar and I was so happy. I always make it a point to tell them when they do an amazing job (get my blood drawn a lot and have had some nightmare people drawing it!). I was so thankful she didn't stick me three times, scratch me with the needle, pull out a syringe and try to suck out my blood, tell me I don't drink enough water or jam the needle around under my skin trying to find the vein! I in turn made her day and it was 5 oclock so I was her last person for the day! It was awesome.
I finally moved out of our hellhole place and we turned in the keys! LO made waiting for my blood draw fun by her cuteness. I ate a Cadbury egg.

Pretty sure I felt the baby move for the first time tonight! So exciting! And we started painting our new house yesterday, and I LOVE how it's looking so far. DH let me do the bathroom a fairly bright blue (I got one room for some real color, rest is pretty safe and neutral), and it's awesome!

When I came home from work DH was playing his guitar and trying to teach LO chords. She then started strumming and trying to play her own rendition of Old McDonald, "Old McDonald, Old McDonald, handbone, handbone, EIEIEO!" I was able to record some of it.

I took LO to gymnastics tonight and she had a good time! She had a bad session on Saturday so I was nervous about taking her back!

Also, we found this little guy outside of our new house. I want a pet snake SO badly, but DH is absolutely unwilling, so it made me happy that there's at least one (cute little harmless one) hanging out near us.

Was in and out of the house today and LO was with the nanny. She squealed with delight each time I came in, even if she had just seen me 30 minutes earlier! We also took a long walk today and she laughed the entire time + waved to everyone we saw on the street. Love her!

DS is 17 months. I'm not feeling great today so I let daddy do the bedtime stuff without me but I wanted to give him is bedtime milk and get a kiss so I said "can I have a smooch?" he ran over and bear hugged me and gave me a kiss. Made my night.

Spring has finally sprung here in the UK (I think! I hope!). The sun shone all weekend and it was just lovely. Oh and E got her first tooth! Yay!

E fell asleep in daycare yesterday! I'm so relieved! They sleep outside in huge prams and she's not used to any of it, but it worked!
I'm just hoping it continues!
