Also curious, is it the same price as a basic frap or do they charge extra for extra pumps/etc? Starbucks newb

@Alivoo01: how much did it end up costing you? I had heard about this and figured with the extra pumps, it would be pricey. Did you get expresso in it?

@Alivoo01: oh okay! a tall frap here is about 3.65 i think. so i'm assuming it would be the same? though i'm kinda feelin the hot beverage! plus, go from 2-5 and get one free right?? or no? is creme a holiday flavor? lol

Just printed the recipe and taking it to my Starbucks on Friday! SO excited!!

I might try it, just to compare, I prefer the non-frozen butterbeer at Universal, but it is delicious either way!

Very curious. I have this idea in my head of what butter beer should taste like, but I feel like I would be disappointed if I ever had it IRL. I have always imagined it hot though, don't know why, something like hot butter rum.

@Alivoo01: Ok I got one... the first sip it tasted like a butter beer but after not really. I think you need to have them add the salted caramel topping to the bottom of your cup then mix in everything and then add more salted caramel topping at the end.

Um I want this. I had it at Harry Potter world this summer and it was amazing!! I wonder if starbucks can get it right.

You might get charged for the extra syrup, depending on the barista. You're supposed to, but it depends. You wouldn't have to tell them the number of espresso shots because that is standard, but the syrup pumps are one less than usual, like a caramel macchiato. That is a TON of syrup, though...it will be incredibly sweet!
I worked at SBux for 4 years...I wouldn't have been annoyed by this order!

I don't like butterscotch, though.

I do love salted caramel mochas, which is toffee nut syrup, caramel sauce and chocolate syrup.

I'm not big on sweet syrup drinks but this I want to try. The one at Universal was yum!

I had it, and it was not good. The barista said he couldn't use a creme frap base and make it hot. Okay, cool. He was super annoyed with the recipe, and it ended up being $7 for a grande. Eep!!! I've had butter beer at a local coffee shop where they advertised it as a flavor to choose, and it was delicious. And way less than $7 for a medium latte that I typically pay $4.95 for on the high end!
