Alot of the treatment that has been released is just apalling. I'm really shocked that the contractors, our service men and women including medical professionals carried out these tactics. Rectal feedings, chained in stress position for hours and days, sleep deprivation for days and hours, sexual molestation, and keeping the prisoners naked in cold spaces either in all light or all darkness 24 hours a day. I'm not surprised prisoners were beaten and some of the humiliation like dumping food over their head. I think there is a line when it comes to poor treatment and inhumane treatment. We crossed the line.

One of the interviews I saw was with a military interrogator stating the best info he received was from well rested detainees because they can recall details. He advocated not prosecuting anyone because the worse thing that could happen is that no one is found guilty and any administration can lawfully employ these tactics again.

I'm torn as to whether the report should have been released. There's a saying "no one wants to know how the sausage is made." I would like to know that we are smarter and better than what is in that report. The report concludes that Intel ga t here's from these detainees was not beneficial leads me to say all that was for nothing. Releasing the report doesn't make us any safer, but it does make us accountable.

@MrsSCB: I loved what Sen McCain said and what he has always said when it comes to these tactics. He is the most credible politician IMO on these matters because he is a survivor of torture. The man cannot even lift his hands above his head because of what happened to him as a POW!
