Yes! This will be my first year with two LOs and LO2 will still be tiny, so trying to think of something cozy for him, but part of a theme so the two LOs costumes go together.

We might have DD be an ewok again since my sister and cousin want to do a themed costume for our family. kids ewoks and grown ups star war characters. Not sure yet

I was thinking a big since that's her nickname, but I think a family costume would be more fun. I need some inspiration though!

@abbydabbydoodlebug: I put my 10 month old in a big poofy tutu last year. It was a little pathetic watching her try to crawl in it, but so stinkin' adorable!!!

Not really, but I know DH wants to get DS the Max (from Where The Wild Things Are book) costume from PBK! Should've gotten in on sale late last year....

@chopsuey: I think you should be princes and princesses and dragons so you match your moat.

I really want DD to be Elizabeth from "The Paper Bag Princess" and for our dog to be the dragon! I am super UN-crafty though, so I should start working on it/soliciting help soon!

Um I never stop thinking about Halloween. Favorite. Holiday. Ever.

Last year was Tinkerbell and Peter Pan. I can either reuse those costumes or go with my idea to make Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf hoodies. I've been compiling a list of sibling costumes

Yes, I am waiting to get the final verdict on gender of lo#3 so I can start planning! Caidence has changed her mind a million times so far so who knows what she will end up as. As for dh and I, we will probably be getting costumes for kids adventure day this year and will have some sort of a medieval theme

@lawbee11: you HAVE to do that Costume, it's amazing!

I wasn't thinking of it at all. But totally just checked the Carter's website to see what the costumes are for this year. Guess I'm a little premature.....

@Mrs. Jump Rope: hahah totally going to do it. DD is obsessed with princesses, and I think DS will make the cutest little dragon haha. He was born in the year of the dragon, so perfect!

    Thanks for the ideas!

Yes, I have. I am thinking a Snow White bunting. I also like the idea of us dressing up to match. However, I have not completely settled on it yet.
I also love the idea of making a costume, but have not done it yet.

Haha when I first saw this thread title I thought...Ha! That's so far off my radar right now! But then in thinking about it I remembered that I have already decided what I was going to make them. Lol I'm losing my mind.

DS was a monkey last year so this year we're going to use the monkey costume for DD. She's going to be Curious George and I'm going to make DS the man in the yellow hat!

Halloween is such a sore spot for me. Every year, my car is vandalized. But what the heck am I supposed to do, leave for the weekend? A bunch of jerk teenagers live in the neighborhood behind us.

I have no idea on a costume!

@Smurfette: we live on a main road..unfortunately, the only other place is at my parents. but to move both our cars there, get a ride home..it's a total PITA. just sucks. two years ago was a full carton of eggs the night before halloween. I went and scrubbed it all off, next day, another carton. and it was in a location that they clearly got out of a car and stood behind mine to do so.

last year, someone drove down my street and shot everyone's car windows with a bb gun.

Lo will be a monkey since that's what we call her.

Eta: I thought about a bag of m&ms since those are her initials, but I think Dh liked the monkey idea better. Plus, she can have a tutu!

@swedishfish: super cute but these are the ones from last year aren't they? Maybe Carter recycles the costumes? I love the owl though!

@swedishfish: I'm so loving the owl! I'm tossed between the owl and a cabbage patch doll. We already have the hair, my mom makes them.

@sorrycharlie: Would a car cover help for the night maybe?

I'll have a 3yo and about a 1 month old. Trying to think of cute brother costumes, and I've been thinking but haven't decided what to do yet.
