I am not loving the choices at my usual stores like old navy and children's place right now. The ones I love from indie stores are like $30+. No way.
Anyone made their own? I've seen a few iron on tutorials online. I can do that and some hand sewing.

I bought an iron on last year for DDs first bday. Took 5 mins was super easy. I made some of my own when I was younger can't really remember how but it wasn't complicated...

I bought an iron on from etsy this year. It was like $9, shipping kills me, and then a $5 tshirt from Old Navy. Hopefully it turns out ok. LO was excited cause she got to pick out the color. Which I am sure she won't want on her actual bday.

Not a great photo of it but I made DS's football-theme shirt with Illustrator, fabric paint, freezer paper, and a $3 tshirt. Actually really easy and he has a whole collection of custom onesies now.

I bought some transfer iron on sheets, digital files from Etsy and shirts from Walmart for LO 1's 4th day.

I made one for ds' second birthday. I bought a shirt, some fabric and iron on stuff and it turned out decent. Since then, I've gotten a sewing machine which would've made it look better, but it worked for me!

We had a polar bear party for LOs third birthday and made iron-on polar bear faces on white t-shirts as part of the favors bag for each guest. It was pretty easy with the kit.

I was going to use the same method as @Josina, which I have used for adult shirts, but my graphic designer ended up free handing it for me.
