I am expecting twins but thought I would see if anyone had seen a sling for both babies so I could get the use of my hands back. I can always get 2 slings one for me and one for DH but I will be alone a lot. What does everyone think, any advice from some twin moms? I want to put these on my registry so if I need 2 of them do you think one would work better for a woman vs man? Oh, I am short if that matters, 4"9.

I know it's not a sling but I saw a guy wearing twins through the airport a few months ago. He was wearing each on a hip using two Ergo carriers. It was beyond adorable.

I had the tot tenders maximom twin carrier (it can even be ordered for triplets). I liked it because each piece was separate so my husband and I could each wear one or they can be hooked together on to one person. It had a lot of different position including one on the back and one on the front. They were very comfortable for me until they got over a year than it was hard to carry both for an extended time. The first time I tried all the different configurations it was a little confusing but once I figured it out it was great

When I go out, I use an ergo for one and put the other in the carseat in the shopping cart. I feel much less cumbersome that way than I think I would carrying both for regular errands.
But thanks for the link, @Shimmer! I never realized I could use my K'tan with both babes!

One of my friends uses a Moby for both now (they're still itty bitties) and actually posted a video on FB today of a mom loading twins into 2 Ergos (one front, one back) for when they're older.

@MerryC: Your comment totally answers a question I've been wandering about how to shop with them! I kept thinking, "Two car seats will completely fill the basket!" This is why I love having other twin mamas on HB!

@Mrs. Blue: Glad to help! I've also started just using the double snap n go and a basket at stores too if I don't need to get much. You get skilled at steering the stroller with one hand pretty quickly

Wow, if you want to feel totally lazy, check out this video of a woman carrying twin 2(?) year olds in two ergos.
I had to stop carrying my one baby at 16 pounds. This woman is making me feel totally lame.
