I loved using swaddleme's on M when she was a baby, but I think they're too thick for this baby (due in August). Has anyone tried A+A's easy swaddles? They look like they'd be much lighter.

I saw them at Right Start and they look nice!
Ps. Are you having a boy or girl?

I think I read something about not being able to get them tight enough? Maybe they've changed them, but when I looked, they used snaps to secure the swaddle strap instead of velcro, so there wasn't a way to get it "just right", tightness-wise.
I want to like them, though, because I love A+A!

I didn't know they existed either! I am a sucker for a + a sooooo I hope they have good reviews! they must be new to the line?

Yes! We've been using one, but like @allison said its not easy to get a snug fit. LO is 6 weeks and about 9lbs 10 oz and the S/M is too big on her. I'm guessing it will fit well when she fills out a bit more (maybe 12lbs?). The fabric is really nice though!

I looked into these and really wanted to try them because we hated the swaddleme's, but like @allison: and @Mrs. Lovejoy: said a lot of reviews said you couldn't get a good fit. I think I am going to try a ModSwad/Woombie instead.

Just for the record, I liked the Halo sleep sack swaddles. I didn't try anything else except a Woombie (way too small for my big guy), but the Halo worked well for us.

No but I saw these and want to try them! With the next one I will be getting Halo sleep sacks though! I love those!

Yes, agree they were hard to get a tight fit. The material is stretchy, so after being swaddled for an hour it wouldn't fit as snug. I also found the material was loose around the neck area and found myself always pushing the material down. It was easy to put on, but are quite pricey though. I bought one at a local baby store, but was desperate at the time because I was never able to swaddled as well as the nurses did at the hospital and was willing to try it! I used the halo ones too, and thought they worked better than the a+a.

Popping in with an update. I woke up in the middle of the night two nights ago as I heard LO squirming through the monitor. I looked over and the swaddle was wrapped completely around her face up to her eyebrows. I freaked out and ran in her room to pull it off.she was ok, but did seem a little scared. Definitely wont be using it again until its almost too small for her.

@StbHisMrs: those look really nice. I got the swaddleme's for my August baby though and I didn't think they looked overly thick? They should be fine with just a onesie I would think or just diaper. Plus they should fit for first few months into November. What do I know though?!

@Mrs. Lovejoy: Omgosh how scary!! I think I'll be passing on these and using the tried and true SwaddleMe's!
@Delight: I absolutely loved them with Maddy, she was born in October, every now and then she'd wake up pretty sweaty. I have a package that my husband picked out, when we first found out I just wanted to find something really thin for those hot August nights
