Nothing really seems to help DD's eczema since she is always scratching but I've been using the California Baby Calendula Cream for a while. I just saw that they also have an Eczema Cream. Has anyone tried it? Reviews?

My friend suggested the Babyganics Eczema cream. You can get it at Walgreens. I just started using the cream and wash on myself, actually...

@blackbird: I was also wondering about that since it was right next to the California Baby one. I read a review on Amazon that said it smells like pencil lead, though. How does it smell to you?

We use the California baby calendula cream on her cheeks and while her eczema still comes and goes it has helped it a lot and reduces the redness and breadth when it flares.

Smells a little like oatmeal. It's very, very brief. I smelled it when i was rubbing it on and then it went away. You know how all "unscented" products have that weird sort of smell? That's all it was. I wish it was lightly scented, but then I guess that would be counterproductive...

@kokobee: I had been avoiding Aveeno products, just in case, ever since the report came out saying that some stuff contains carcinogens! We also use Restoraderm but that doesn't seem to help either. =(

We tried a lot of moisturizers and we've found basic Cetaphil has helped improve our LO's eczema.

@kokobee: they are owned by Johnson and Johnson. There have been recalls of J&J and Aveeno lotions (and of course, Tylenol) so I am a bit wary!
