I thought some of y'all may have found it since Westworld is over for the season.
I guess it came out 12/15 without a lot of advertising. We found it because DH had the flu and we had the time to watch a new show. I just read some theories online. Visually really interesting and I enjoyed the cinematography. Conceptually I need some time to think on it.
Thoughts?

I don't think I've come across that one. We'll have to add it to the list! We just watched Black Mirror and some of those episodes were pretty shocking.

We got hooked and binge-watched it. It was amazing but then...I have no idea what to make of the last episode. Like you I'm still thinking about it. And reading theories.

@Synchronicity: I thought about watching black mirror, then my brother described the first episode to me and I decided against it! lol
I saw it on Netflix the other day and was thinking of trying an episode!

I binged it alllll on Sunday and it was mesmerizing.
I want to believe her story.
I read that they will do a 2nd season, if there's good fan reception.

Such a small detail but I loved that they did the intro at the end of the first episode.
Also one of the things I read online is that those books were not hers. She lived in Russia before she went blind and after that read braile.

@youboots: Hmmm. I've been thinking of little details. The books were in an Amazon box so I was thinking she ordered them online when she had gotten home? DH pointed out that we at least know Homer is real though b/c she found that video of him online right after she got internet access - his news story right after his NDE. And we also know there was a bus crash in Russia in 1995 b/c the boys found the story online...

I was amazed. I also want to believe her, but it's just so sensational. But the scars, her sight coming back, she had to be SOMEWHERE. So. Good. I want another season!

Bumping this because we just finished it a couple days ago. I really liked it. I read a lot of people didn't like the finale, but I actually thought it was pretty fitting. The frustrating thing was that I really wanted to see Hap get what he deserved. I wish they'd save the "is it real or not" mystery for the middle and resolved it by the end.
I'm not sure what to think about the books. I'm guessing she could read English because she wanted Internet. I doubt she was browsing pages in Russian. And if the FBI agent planted them, how would he know someone would look under her bed? And how would he know so much about her story? I don't really buy that she told him as much of her story as she did to group.
I hope they do a second season, and I really hope it was all real.
