I have heard this a bit here and there, and wanted to check with the community at large!
Do you visit Facebook less or more since joining Hellobee?

Do you visit Facebook less or more since joining Hellobee?

I don't-- I actually visit FB a lot less often than I did about 6 months ago (I deleted my old profile and started from scratch after a 3 month break). I do spend more time on HB, but it doesn't cut into my FB time.

I despise FB, I just wish people would realize that what they post on FB will affect any job they hope to get in the future. If you post half naked pictures of yourself or curse like a sailor, well, just not good.

@mrbee: I don't like sharing my life with people who don't share back or seem to care (commenting, etc.). So I stopped posting as much as I used to. I go back and forth between shutting my account down or deleting people. I usually just delete "friends."

Definitely! I never really liked FB all that much but would just go on there to kill time here and there. Now I come on HB instead.

I definitely spend less time on FB! I spend the majority of my time on HB now

I don't spend much time on FB anyhow so it doesn't cut down on my time there....but does cut down on my time at Wb.

I am on weddingbee a lot less now, and am on facebook a little less, but that's mostly because I'm frustrated with so many pregnancy announcements, ultrasound pics, etc. I adore my friends and am so happy for them, but I need a break from all of that.

I deleted facebook. I decided not to waste my time snooping on peoples lives and I didn't like the fact that people could snoop on mine... (the privacy settings are not as good anymore) .... instead I could learn things on hellobee/ask for advice and spark my creativity on pinterest!

I'm always on facebook but the recent changes make me want to go on facebook less. I do use it to communicate with my family and friends back east so I can't live without it. HB has taken away from my WB time, though.

I FB about the same amount as before, but Hello Bee has completely replaced Wedding Bee for me now. I am pre-TTC, so maybe when we are actually TTC or expecting I will spend more time on here than on FB.
I have noticed that I am on HB more now that there are more bloggers, and I often find myself wishing there were even more bloggers and content!

I facebook about the same amount as I did before, but I think it has dropped my weddingbee time a bit.

I fb about the same, I think. I have a lot of down time at work & that's where I do all my internet creeping {fb, hb, pinterest, google reader}. If I'm busy, though, I'm more likely to visit fb b/c it doesn't require as much though. I can surf through that while I'm on a con-call or waiting for an engineer to do something & here I like to read through everyone's stuff & then replying takes some thought, most of the time. I sound like a terrible employee, but I assure you my utilization reports beg to differ as I know how to be efficient.

No not at all. I go on facebook for different reasons than why I Come on Hellobee.
GOLD / wonderful grape / 20289 posts
I still love Facebook, but I rarely go on wedding bee anymore.
hostess / papaya / 10540 posts
It cuts down on my FB and WB time. They don't have things to do that interest me like Hellobee does.
hostess / eggplant / 11068 posts
Yup, totally. I love Hellobee because I can contribute something and within seconds someone else has contributed back. I'm learning new things, have support when I need it, and it's just awesome. FB is just getting old.

Coincidentally I deleted my Facebook account around the same time Hellobee entered beta mode. The time I used to spend on Facebook has now been replaced with Hellobee.

Im not on FB much but I wasn't before Hellobee either. It has reduced the amount of time I spend on Pinterest.

I still go on Facebook to mostly stay in contact with my close friends. I unsubscribed from a lot of acquaintances and hid their posts...like the ones that constantly post crap about how great their DH/SO are, post videos and links, always complain, etc.

Im still all up in FBs face. I rarely go to WB anymore though cause you cant post from an ipad and Im chatty!

@autumnlove: I LOL'd at this!!! Especially the "My husbandis incredible" people everyday. Its like...come on now....

Facebook is the same, but my Weddingbee time has been greatly, greatly reduced.

I look forward to checking Hellobee daily! I love the community that has developed and I feel like I'm learning so much each day!
honeydew / 7968 posts
actually, i check facebook the same. so now i have an added thing to look into when i'm online. =T where does the time go?
GOLD / wonderful apricot / 22646 posts
I definitely stopped using FB as much once HB became an instant addiction!
Last week - I deactivated FB because their new "timeline" is annoying. I mainly use twitter & HB & blogging as my social media outlets.
grapefruit / 4187 posts
No, but only because I don't have access to FB during the work day since my company blocks it and the internet doesn't work on my phone (at&t). So HB is my daytime amusement and when I get home from work I usually check FB.
persimmon / 1255 posts
FB time decreased a little but it's my random net surfing time that got hit big.
