My daughter, not yet 3 years old, had her second ambulance ride to the hospital last night. Siiiiiigh. Thankfully she's absolutely fine (for now...another doctor's appointment coming up next week) but I've aged 50 years as a result.

@Rubies: how scary! So glad she's doing ok! Keep us posted!
No ambulance rides yet... And hopefully none in her future. I've never been in an ambulance. She has been to the ER and that was scary enough for me

Yes. She was a month old. The ambulance experience was fine, the hospital experience was horrible.

@mediagirl: @keiki_mama: @sandy: @Mrs. Jump Rope: The first time was in December when she started vomiting mucus and couldn't breathe. Last night, I thought she had croup but her face was turning blue and she couldn't speak a full sentence without gasping for 2-3 breaths so...Yeah. She apparently had some sort of an allergic reaction but her doctor is baffled...But she's in bed now sleeping and she'll be okay from here on out!

Yes, so scary. Similar to your experience, when LO was 8 months old she started vomiting mucus and seemed to be having trouble breathing. I freaked! Oh and it was Christmas Eve. Awesome.

Yes he hit his head hours before hand and then woke up vomiting in the middle of the night. I was petrified and called 911 right away. It was some virus that he caught luckily.but it scared.the crap out of me.
