LO is 11 months and got scratched on her face and arm by another baby at daycare over a toy maraca. The scratches aren't that big so I wasn't that worried when I picked her up. The teacher didn't tell me who the other baby was but said they were separated.
LO was super clingy, quiet, didn't eat much and it took a LOT longer to get put her down for bed last night. Is she just still in shock from the baby fight?

@autumnlove: Aw how sad. I hope she's ok now. My son was rattled by the Giant on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. He got freaked out by him and then wouldn't eat his dinner and was fussy that night.

Poor girl!
Yes, DD was in shock after I almost hit a deer on the way home. She was weird that night but got over it by the morning. However, she hasn't forgotten about it. She just told me that she doesn't like deer a few days ago bc they get in our way.

@Andrea: How cute! My friend hit a pigeon once and her DD is FREAKED out by birds. My son wasn't scared of giants before. We went to Disneyland and he saw how HUGE Mickey & Minnie were in real life, and ever since then he's been scared of giants.

@banana: That sucks about the birds! Yeah, we've seen some of those giant characters around and she is very afraid of them. I guess we're going to wait on Disneyland! I swear I was not afraid of them when I was her age. My parents took me to Disneyland and I loved it.

@Andrea: I hear a lot of kids get freaked out by Mickey/Minnie at Disneyland. I have a picture that I took with my brother. He was around 3 at the time. We were standing next to Goofy and he was FREAKING OUT. I love that pic. haha

DS got completely freaked out by a bunch of blackbirds the other day while we were eating on the patio at a restaurant. They were being aggressive and trying to get food, and we had to move inside since he was hysterical!

Awww. So far he is super freaked out by 1) Santa and 2) the discovery channel commercial for Shark Week that ran all the time during the Olympics.
