All Free and Clear. Used it since day 1 and it's wonderful. We can use it for all laundry because it's not crazy expensive.

But have always used regular free and clear detergent- I think All, usually, or the Costco brand. I didn't cloth diaper so can't speak to that, but I wash baby and adult clothes all in the same detergent.

I use all free and clear for the whole family. My daughter got eczema as a baby (I was using honest co at the time) and allergist said he has done a ton of studies on detergent and All free and clear is best for sensitive skin.

If you're already using unscented for yourself you can definitely use the same for your LOs clothes. I did that when he was tiny and know lots of other moms who did the same. And I assume it's cheaper than baby branded products.

I can't comment on cloth diapers though, sorry!

@jennlin821: No advice on diapers, but we use free & clear detergent for all our laundry. The good thing about using the same detergent for adult and baby clothes is that baby clothes are so small they rarely take up a full load, so I just throw them in with my laundry. No need to have separate "baby detergent."

I use arm and hammer free and clear for everyone's clothes. Some people also use it for cloth diapers, and I tried it, but wasn't happy with the results. I now use tide free and clear for our cloth diapers and it works great.

We use Tide's free and clear one for everything, everyone, forever, Amen.

I use the Up&Up free and clear (Target brand) for all our clothes (Dh is sensitive to smells/perfumes too), never had a problem.

I've heard good things about the Ecos brand too but never used it.

Another vote for All Free and Clear. I use it for the whole family - DD2 is SUPER sensitive and is fine with it. It's pretty good on stains, too!

We use 7th Generation for all our laundry (no cloth diaper experience).

I've used Ecos, Seventh Generation, and Whole Foods' 365 Brand -- all unscented, I am very sensitive to perfumes and dyes. But we didn't do cloth diapers. We never separated baby clothes from our own, either, just threw it all in together.

@jennlin821: if you use All Free and clear, you have to get powder version since the liquid version is not recommended per the link @Mrs. Pickle: posted.

I use cloth diapers and I use Tide Free and Gentle. It's approved by the fluff love diaper group. Also, almost every free and clear detergents are fairly weak compared to regular detergents. For cloth diapers, you'll need to add a softener (double check your water hardness per FLU) to increase the cleaning powder. Or you can use Tide. Tide is strong in general and their Tide Free and Gentle is great. I've been using it for a while after switching from another free and clear detergent that wasn't cleaning my cloth diapers as well. We use the tide f&g for baby laundry, too.

I use the Kirkland brand free and clear for all our cloths and cloth diapers.

It can be tricky to find the right cloth diaper wash for your water. We have very soft water so it's easy.
