I'm guilty! I bought really, really nice diaper bag from Liv+Co when it was on sale for 60% off once- it's black patent leather, and looks like a giant handbag, so I couldn't pass it up!

I'm TTC now and I bought a couple sleepsacks when it was a great price on Woot.

I bought a pair of Robeez that look like golf shoes and say Daddy's Little Caddy. My husband is a huge golfer, and I plan to surprise him with them when I get a BFP.

....I bought a duo swing/bouncy chair for a great deal, new and unopened for 70% less than it was in stores. Also bought a baby-bathing tub for $5 on sale on day.
It's possible that I've also refinished a dresser and a nightstand in the last month to go in the to-be baby room. It's possible... but I'm not saying whether it actually happened...

I bought some custom onesies for pregnancy reveals, which I promptly hid in the back of a closet until I got my BFP.

@beka: That is so funny! I was on the verge of buying a cute vintage wooden highchair to paint, but just stopped myself. I'm actually reupholstering a chair for the future nursery but I always say that it could go in the guest room.

We bought a stuffed bear on our honeymoon right after we started TTC and I bought a NY Mets bib but that is it. I feel like I'll jinx us if I buy too much. We actually have a pack-n-play and a jumparoo that my sister bought for our house when she and our niece came to visit from Hawaii. A friend of ours sent us a babyGap onesie with our last name on it last summer and I think she feels bad for sending it since we're still TTC. Hopefully we'll get to use all of this stuff soon!!

No I never did, I looked but never bought. I'm 15 weeks and still haven't made any baby purchases, but that will change this weekend!

No, but I've only been trying for about a month. And I'm more NTNT than actually TTC. So once I start seriously TTC at the end of this summer it's possible I will shop and start to decorate the future baby's room.

I was too paranoid. But a couple weeks after we got our BFP, I bought a stash of cloth diapers + cloth diapering book from @sorrycharlie
I also ordered the free baby sling, (I'm not a fan, it's just an overpriced cheap pillowcase).
I went to Target the other day and wanted to peruse the clearance section for baby goods, but they didn't have one! Must be high selling time for baby products!

Nope, I was too afraid of jinxing!
@futuremama:
woo where did you find that? Sounds super cute! My husband is a golfer too.

@GreenThumb: Yeah... I can't believe I actually admitted that But I knew I would have to do the refinishing before getting pregnant, due to the sanding and fumes from the staining and all. I finished the nightstand last night and hid it in the closet next to the dresser I actually have found my baby stuff kinda reassuring after miscarrying - it's like the hope is still there and someday it'll all get used. That probably sounds really silly.

I bought a Bob before we were pregnant. My husband's cousin was selling hers for 50% of retail so it just made sense for us to buy it since I knew I would want one. We haven't bought anything else. I'm 7 weeks now and I'll probably start buying things after our 12 week ultrasound.

No, I'm afraid it will jinx us. I've been really tempted to though!

Nope. Too superstitious. I also waited until 8 weeks, and after viewing the heartbeat on the u/s before making my first purchase (a diaper bag). After the BFP, It was reeealllly hard to hold back!

I haven't bought a thing. I've wanted to though.

I've bought some books for babies/small kids. I am a writer and avid reader and I dream of reading stories to a little one.

We've bought tons of children's books, but we collect books all the time so we didn't even think about it. I would buy other things as well, if we had money to spare right now or if I found an amazing deal.

Nope... But I did have 2 swaddle blankets I bought for someone else and never got a chance to give it to her..my babies r now using them.

my husband always gets on me about trying to buy stuff!! I've created a baby wish list on Amazon though, and actually use it ALOT to buy stuff for friends/relatives when they haven't actually made a registry... kind of like a bookmark of cool baby stuff!

@regberadaisy: I found them on Amazon, but it looks like they're out of stock now.

Etsy had some pretty cute onesies that said the same thing.

We bought some nursery decor. It was such a great buy, we couldn't help ourselves!

I have wanted to so badly, but I was afraid it would jinx us somehow (I know, silly). We are in the adoption process right now as well, so now I can really go crazy and buy baby stuff!
