Nope! None at all! I was an only child and, as my mum was the surprise "menopause baby" and then waited until 31 to have me, all my cousins were much older than me! I've never babysat anyone in my life!!!

I've only ever held two babies. I gave one of those babies a bottle but I've never even seen a person breastfeed! I've never changed a nappy. I've never so much as seen a baby getting a bath! Oh Lord, do you think they'll let me bring him/her home?!!!! Lol!

Me neither! I'm not particularly worried about it yet though, I have faith I'll either know what to do or just figure it out as I go.

Nope. Before LO we had one friend with a baby, and I held her a little bit, but no diaper changes. DH never even held her..... he was too scared he'd break her. Now he always grabs a newborn every chance he gets!

Tons! I started babysitting at 11, plus had lots of babies in the family. Then became a nanny and worked in a daycare with babies.

Tons! Even though I knew a lot about babies, I was still a little scary sometimes with my own baby... It still is! It's different when you're the one making all the decisions for a little person.

No, I didn't have any experience with babies before LO came along. It's intimidating at first, but you figure it out.

Nope! I was never a baby person before having my LO.

I have been around a ton of kids, but most of them were over 6 months. So I have no idea how to handle a newborn and it scares the crap out of me! I'm totally cool with and love all ages of kids...as long as they are over 6 months, haha.

OMG so many babies. Siblings (5), cousins (10 of them all at least 8 years younger than me) and lots and lots of baby sitting.

I still felt like I was flying blind!

I think that being around babies made me more aware of what could happen but it didn't prepare me for what would happen!

I'm in the same boat. I do have a little experience with kids but more like 4 yo and up. Small babies not so much. This should be interesting. That said, I think it might actually be a good thing because I'll be open to trying as many things as possible.

I've had plenty of experience with toddlers and up, from being a camp counselor and things like that, so I'd changed 2.5 yo and up diapers, but for babies I didn't have that much experience until my sister had my nephew 2 years ago. I'm still a little uncomfortable holding newborns because they seem so fragile, and I never changed my nephew's diaper until he was a few months old-- I tried when he was a few weeks and I was scared I'd break him and made his dad do it!

But from a few months and up I feel like I have gotten a lot of experience from being around my nephews. I babysat my nephew for a week when he was 4 months old and my sister went back to work, so I got to do it all, minus getting up with him at night. And, of course, breastfeeding, but I watched my sister as she got the hang of it so I think that will help?

Luckily, babies don't remember anything you screw up in the first few months, as long as you keep them safe.

Yes, I baby sat a TON from the time I was 11-12 on. I also have 10+ cousins that are ALL younger than me and I used to love burping, giving bottles, and helping with them with I was younger.

I babysat toddlers and up but never changed diapers. I never really like being around little kids/babies before DS. It wasn't until I had him that I "got it". Now I looove babies and am endlessly facinated by them.
