I went last year and she found a mole she wanted to remove. I finally got it removed this week and it's in a very tough spot - right on my bra strap line. It's uncomfortable even though I have the vaseline, cotton ball and band-aid on it.

Yep, several times. I've had a couple moles removed and had to go because of a skin rash earlier this year.
I'm sorry your uncomfortable!

That stinks - but it must be a relief to have it gone! I go once a year now to check moles. Knock on wood they've all been fine. My poor husband has to go every 6 months because he is fair skinned and has a ton from sun damage. Mine are mostly ones I was born with.

Yup. I've been getting cold sores since I was a kid. I had a really bad one once that required a visit to the dermatologist.

Yes, because I lived at the beach for two summers and wanted to get my skin checked by a pro. DH has had 2 suspicious (but noncancerous) moles removed.

@mediagirl: Ouch! Hope it heals quickly.
I go once a year for an annual check-up. Thankfully nothing to worry about so far!

No, but I want to. I have a mole (mole? birthmark? I've had it since birth, so idk...) on my stomach that I want gone. DH and I are TTC now, though, so I'm not sure if the derm would remove it if there's a chance I could be pregnant?

In high school I got several moles removed. The only other time I've gone was last year after developing eczema, which I had as a kid but thought I'd grown out of. Nope! I also, really, need a visit just to get some of this adult acne under control. Nothing too severe, but annoying nonetheless!

Yep, lots due to eczema. In fact I have appt tomorrow at 1 to find out what is causing my face to react.

I have been to one a lot because I have very sensitive skin. I hope you feel better soon. I have some moles I want removed because their location is near my bra line.
