I haven't used Priceline in EONS but I think it might be a good option for an upcoming trip. Tell me about your experience! Where, how much, was it a good value, any surprises?

I'm a fan of their "Name Your Own Price" feature. I've used it for booking hotels numerous times and they've always come through on a great hotel for a great rate. They let you choose the area which is a super bonus!

@Alivoo01: Thanks!! That's the option I was considering but you know that unknown element sort of scares me. I guess if I specify a decent number of stars I should have a certain element of control!

@mamimami: Exactly! Selecting the star rating definitely helps! For me, reading reviews for the potential star rating you're thinking about before actually bidding helps me out a ton also. Because a 3-star hotel in one city can be a 4-star hotel in another so it can really vary on the "type" of hotel you're getting! Even though I use it frequently, I still get nervous and scared about what hotel I'll receive when I hit the submit button. haha!

We use it all the time. Very rarely have had a bad experience. The Better Bidding forum is full of good info!
