No. But chopsuey119 sent me some tissue paper for free, I just paid shipping.

Not yet. I do check them out. I've seen things I'd like to buy, but I won't since I'm not pregnant yet.

Not yet but I'm always on the lookout to see if there's anything I'd like to buy!

Not yet. But just because nothing has struck my fancy. If I do see something I want I totally intend to go for it.

Is there a way to see all of the classified posts in one place?

I'm trying to cut back on my online shopping habits but I would definitely buy from a HB friend!

@highwire: You can use tags to check them all out, if you'd like!

no- the two thing I was interested in, the people didn't respond to me about. I wish there could be a separate forum spot for classifieds, maybe that would create more activity!

yup I bought my first stash of CDs from @sorrycharlie!

@scg00387: Possibly. So far though, there hasn't been a huge amount of items posted on the boards... not sure if the demand is there for a standalone classifieds feature.
honeydew / 7687 posts
@Mrbee I think it might generate more demand/postings if you could see at a glance what all was listed. I only click on the classifieds if it is on the first page, and then if I have time to read through the thread of what's posted. If it was a separate spot that each item/ISO post was separate I think it'd be easier to scan! But that is just me & my shopping ways.

@scg00387: No I totally agree with that! It's very hard to see what's posted, you have to go through 4 differnt threads and read all the comments

I love the classifieds thread, I just always lose it! I bought from @chopsuey119 and sold to @mrsjyw

@scg00387: @MrsTiz: The tough part is that baby classifieds are kind of inherently local. Items like cribs, strollers, walkers, and jumperoos tend to be bulky and lend themselves to local buying and selling.
A lot of what we've been seeing posted to the Hellobee classifieds threads are cloth diapers and slings/wraps.... stuff that can be sent through the mail. That stuff probably represents a small percentage of what is bought and sold for baby/toddler gear?

I've tried to purchase but was unsuccessful. However, the mommy just had her babies so totally understandable!
pomelo / 5073 posts
Yes!!!! Chopsuey and Andrea both sold me something. Now we just need to get a baby to use them!

@mrbee I guess I also think I'd buy/sell kid's clothes, maternity clothes, toys... and I'd love to pay someone to ship their bumble ride indie to me UPS if the price was right

I'd like to! The items I was interested in I didn't get a response from, though. I agree that it might have little activity just because the thread isn't as visible. I always have to search for "classifieds" to get back to it because it gets lost.

I've bought and would happily buy more if there was more to buy. I think a local section in the classifieds would be so helpful and useful, almost like having our own version of CL. An if course still a section for things that people can ship to others.
