Saw a deal for a local studio/photog that specializes in boudoir. Kind of toying around with the idea as a gift for DH.

I did a pin-up/boudoir shoot. It was pretty amateur, but they turned out ok and I still really like them.
Would love to do another more pro one though, some day.
DO IT!

Yep for our first anniversary he liked it I guess the book sits in a drawer now. I figure at some point I'll be glad I did before kids

I did...not exactly boudoir...but it was a "sexy" shoot. I LOVED how the pictures came out. I know I'll be glad I took them when I'm old and wrinkly and I can look back at how smokin' hot I looked

@jetsa: That's my only hesitation right now. If I did it I'd have to book it right away! We're TTC right now and I'd rather do it now... (for my future self to enjoy later too?)

I did - as a wedding gift to DH. He looks at them ALL the time lol

Yeah mine wasn't exactly boudoir, but it was sexy. I had DH's cousin do them before we were married and I made a little book that I gave DH on his way to the bachelor trip in Vegas. I say do it!

I never have but I kind of wish I did before kids! I say go for it!
My only caution would be to make sure that you have it spelled out in your contract with your photographer how private you want to remain. Eg. Offline Portfolio/Website/Blog, your name, use for advertising, editorial usage, etc. I would want to remain super private so I would probably specify that I wouldn't allow any of it to be used anywhere and if at all possible the pics deleted after I get the disc and no upload to any online services.

Yup! I had so much fun doing it and I'm so glad I did. It really was a confidence booster. Also my DH LOVED it!

I did, with the idea that it would be for our first anniversary or something, but they only came out ok and I've meet actually told Dh I did them! I just have a cd with sexy photos of me in my sick drawer...

I did one right after we got married, with the help of a photographer friend. I'd like to do another once I hit my goal weight.

I did for our first anniversary, prebaby, and I am SO glad I did. The pics are in a book in his drawer, but they look fabulous!

I did. After I had a baby!! (12 months PP) it was really expensive so be careful. I got a deal for a great price on groupon but then they make you buy wicked expensive books so check on that. Overall I'm glad I did it because it totally made me feel pretty and sexy again when I wasn't feeling it. DH liked them a lot, too!

Yup, I did it pre baby, for his birthday! I'm glad I did it (and glad I did it when I did).

It was on my pre-baby bucket list. A local photographer was doing a marathon session where she books clients back to back and make up was included so I jumped on the chance. I made a little black book for my husband with my favorites.

No, neither DH nor I see the point. Everyone I know that has done them seems to have really enjoyed the experience. So, if you think your husband will appreciate it, go for it! Have fun!

I haven't done any. But, with my mom body now I look back at my old body and think it wasn't as bad as I always thought it was so I wish I had done them.

Yup, I did! It was before kids and before we got married, though—it was a gift for my husband on our wedding night. Honesty, doing them made me feel EXTREMELY beautiful. I look at those pictures still today and i'm so happy I took them. I'm really thankful I liked my photographer and felt comfortable with her. They were also extremely tasteful...I told her what I did and didn't want to do and she was totally cool with it.
DO THEM!!!!

I did them and they were so much fun. I personally did them for myself as much as I did them for hubby. I don't think I spend enough time thinking of myself as "sexy" and when I look back at all the photos I look smokin hot!!

I did a pinup shoot. I love the pictures! I don't think you'll regret it.
@.twist.: I want to see your pinup pics!

I never have, but totally think its something DH would love. Do it!

@Ra: aaaah! haha. I don't think they would at all measure up to all the other ladies in this thread who had pros done!

@Danizaur: don't think like that! You can still do it and look hella hot! It's never too late!
hostess / papaya / 10219 posts
@.twist.: @Danizaur: true! I did them after baby and they were awesome. They know how to pose you so you look sexy and to hide your less desirable areas. And they airbrush a tad mine did hair and make up too. So fun!

I've been thinking about doing one for either Christmas or our Anniversary. Part of me thinks it would be fun, but I was self-conscious about my body before pregnancy and more so now.
persimmon / 1343 posts
I thought about it as a wedding gift but we had no money and I was too scared to go through with it. I kindof wish I did since now my body isn't the same after baby.

I want to surprise my Husband with a pin up book. I'm working on toning up, it may be another year though!! I'm so shy about it, I'm not sure I could do it!
pomegranate / 3401 posts
Nope! Kinda wish I did though....would have made a good wedding present for DH. And good proof for the future that I used to be that skinny.

I have not, but I am trying to lose some weight, and if I lose about 30 pounds, I am going to, probably more for me than DH.
