Yes, yesterday while driving. I muttered something under my breath and thought she couldn't hear me in the back seat, rear facing, music playing. Then she piped up and said it. I was horrified and am going to have to be way more careful!

I backed into a pole just a few days ago too! I don't even remember what I said. Luckily, I've been able to control the cussing these days. My LO says "omigosh!" all the time now so they definitely pick things up.

i don't think so, but i don't really swear in general, so i am not too worried about it. If it happened the way you described, i don't think it would be a big deal.

We don't swear, but in 9 years of parenting I definitely have slipped a good handful of time in extenuating circumstances.

I backed into DH's car the other day and yeah, it was a lot worse than 'oh shit!' Luckily I don't think my three month old is going to start repeating things he hears me say very soon, LOL
