i have been a few times. honestly, even after being fitted i had to try a bunch on in each brand because they all run differently. also i hate things being tight so they always want me to go down band size and up cup size, but i'm not comfortable that way, so i don't. i think it's a good place to start, but nothing will replace actually going & spending some time trying on different bras.

I agree with @mrs. bird:. If they can figure out the secret to prevent the straps falling off my sloping shoulders without digging into them, then I would get fitted! No one has been able to help yet, though.

I'll check the chart once my boobs are free!

@mrs. bird: Yup! I have one bra with the most ingenious little hook already attached so it's not a complete PITA to take off. I think I'm going to sew that onto all of my bras. If I ever fit into them again, heh.

I've gone to a couple speciality bra shops and was "fitted" by the gals there. I was wearing a 34DD at the time they fitted me for a 30G (28FF for some other bras)... BIG difference. My straps weren't falling down, I wasn't stuffing my girls back into the cups, etc. It was amazing. Up to a 32H now with my weight gain , but hoping when I lose it, I'll be back to my old bras.

@mrs. bird: I didn't like the band being tight either, but the girls explained to me that it would stretch with wear, so its better to go for tighter. As well as holding the straps up. It didn't take long for me to break in my bras, so to say.

You know this, but I just did and it is THE BEST.

I used to also go with a larger band/smaller cup size (note: was told that the cup size on a 34DD is the same as a 36D is the same as a 38C, etc). But they put me in a 34F!!! AHHHHH.

But it was a fabulous experience, and resulted in the most expensive, most wonderful feeling bra in the world!

Do I regret it? Nope! Would I do it again? Heck yes!

I did before our wedding and it was awesome. I was wearing a 34a and was moved to a 30d. Since 30d is super rare in commercial shops my sister size is 32c.

I did postpartum and they told me I should be wearing a 32e. I tried several on and found the band way too tight so I just ordered some 34d's and am happy with them although I do feel like my boobs sometimes don't fit exactly right in it.

Yes, I've been fitted at Nordstroms a couple times and they do a great job. I found it helpful if I've gained or lost weight. They were really knowledgable about different styles and will totally do it again. Bras are expensive, wanna make sure they fit right! not sure what I'll do now I'm KU, but maybe after I'm done bf

@zippylef: I was! Before, I was wearing a 38 DD, but after I was a 34 H! Best change pretty much EVER. It made me look like I lost 10 pounds!

I've never been fitted, but I definitely want to be after I have this baby.

Yes a couple different times, sometimes I believe them and sometimes I don't! I'm in VS biggest cup size (DDD) so I'm thinking it's time to find a new brand that is a little more accommodating to a full chested woman. I don't even feel like mine are that big even though I"m in a size 34-36DDD so I have to believe there are other women out there with my issues or VS would start adding bigger cups!

ummmmm. i'm just jealous of all of you with amazing boobs. while i'm stuck at a size b. embrace it!
