I admit that I've cyberstalked a few people before! Last week, I met a mom at my son's preschool and we got along really well. But I had heard from another mom and she had a shady past. She wouldn't go into any details so, of course, I cyberstalked her. I found out that she was taken into custody for connection to a possible child abduction! Her name and photo were in the media so it wasn't hard to find her. Apparently, she was never charged.

I have...I have an ex that has went way down hill since I dated him and I like to look at the booking reports and see how often he goes to jail. Makes me realize how smart I was for ditching his a**!

I sort of cyber stalk people all the time. Nothing super dramatic, but I love looking through online mugshots and court documents. I'm not even a nosy person, I just like the challenge of snooping, I think. I'm obsessed with our county's property appraiser site.

I used to all the time ... Embarrassing to admit, but it is what it is. I don't have time to do all of that now! BUT, sometimes, I'll look up old friends, just out of curiosity.

@mrsjazz: me too. I'm a researcher by nature. With a few simple searches, you can find out a lot about someone. It's not really hard. I've checked up on exes and waiting to see my bestie's divorce go through.

@LuLu Mom: Hey, it's public record, so totally worth snooping on. We do that with our neighborhood as there's been some movement lately. We like to see where we would figure into it when we put our condo on the market.

@HLK208: I FB looked up the previous owners of our condo. They had a baby a few months after us. They seemed nice, so I wanted to know more about them.
I love to registry stalk engaged couples and couples expecting. I want to see if they register for something totally useless (baby) or ridiculous (wedding).

@cascademom: I love registry stalking too! Especially baby registries. Sometimes I feel like calling them and telling them not to register for X, Y, and Z! But that's crossing the line from cyber stalker to real stalker so I refrain. haha

@banana: haha, I kind of did that to a friend of mine. She was seeking some advice. I saw that she registered for a Moby. We didn't use the Moby with LO, so I gifted it to her. During my email, I mentioned that I hated the Sleep Sheep for a noise machine. Whoops, she already received it. Maybe it works for them, but didn't for us. Sleep Sheep is a toy LO likes to throw around in our bedroom. Sometimes I use Sleep Sheep to sleep otherwise, not worth it for us.
I cringe at really expensive baby stuff registered for like play gyms. Just seems crazy to me. Yeah, I often want to yell at them for registering for such useless things.

@Mrs.Someone: Good question! I remember stalking some friends when I was in elementary school by using 3-way calling. My friend would 3-way call another girl that we didn't like and I would go on mute. So all 3 of us would be on the call but the other girl would think it was just her and my friend And this other girl would talk all this crap about me and I would hear it all!!! And then we'd do the reverse. I don't know if that's stalking. Actually I don't know what that would be called. Being b*tchy? lol
