I'm only 5'2" so I'd be hard pressed to find a guy shorter than me. But no, most of the guys I've dated have been at least 6'.

Nope, but my mother is taller than my father by an inch or two and my MIL is taller than my FIL by probably 5".

My boyfriend before my husband was about 5'8" and since I'm 5'4" it seemed that we were the same height because I wore tall heels a lot in those days.
Now, my husband is 5'10 and I wear flats most of the time. I hate to admit it, but for me, being shorter than me would have been a deal breaker.

I briefly dated a guy in high school who was almost a foot shorter than me and I'm short so he was a total shrimp. And my husband is an inch shorter than me!

Yep, I dated a guy who was exactly the same height as me and I didn't like it.

not until my husband I have always dated tall guys (I'm 5' 8'') my husband is just about the same height as me, no more heels for this girl!

My very first boyfriend in the 5th grade was shorter than me. At 5'9 it's not super easy to find tons of guys taller than me, but DH is 6' so that makes me happy

Yes I hated it. Technically he wasn't really shorter than me but the same height but I always wear some type of heel and I could only wear flip flops when I was with him. It was really annoying! It's kind of a deal breaker after that

@artbee: I also dated someone from an online dating site who lied bigtime about his height! I was still shorter than him, but he claimed to be 5'8" and he was barely an inch taller than me putting him at about 5'2"!

@Modern Daisy: I don't get it.... do they think we won't notice?! That was his first strike. Not that he was short, but that he lied about it. Well actually second strike because his first was that I said I didn't want to go out on valentine's day and I didn't want anything fancy...... and he set the date for valentine's day at a fancy schmancy restaurant. And then he talked about how he doesn't like black people, he doesn't like the idea of adopting, and he told me I'm not a real Jew because I'm reform. And then he wondered why I didn't want to go on a 2nd date. I don't miss dating

@artbee: Wow, that same exact thing happened to my 'non' Jewish friend! She got back at him by eating a bacon cheeseburger on their date to intentionally turn him off, lol!
