Almost certainly will. We've been on a million vacations with my in laws and a couple with my parents, and one with both of them. All went well and we had a great time. Doing some things separately and having your own space for part of the day (at least) is key, I think.

I said I haven't, but would, but I guess we actually went with DH's parents to visit family across the country last year, so that counts as a vacation kind of.

We almost went on a cruise with my parents last year, but ended up not being able to get the time off work. I'd totally consider it again.

Ive done both, with my mother and the family and with my husbands parents and siblings. I would do them both again (probably will in the near future) but its much easier when we go with my husbands family My mother is a lot of things, and easy is not one of them and my husband and her butt heads a lot and its much more stressful as a whole. My in laws help a lot too in ways my mother cant and doesnt. Also there is more of them so that in itself is easier vs just my mother.

No voting option for me. I have and I would consider it again. We just went on a week vaca with my inlaws and SIL's (2). It was ok. It started out very rocky but ended up working out in the end. I guess I had pictured it differently/more fun/easier than it was. However, DH"s family is a lot different than my family so I think that could have been the discrepancy between what I expected vs what it was.

It was our idea to do a family vacation and we spear headed it, needless to say we won't be doing that again, but if they approached us with another family vacation we probably would strongly consider it.

Yes to my parents, no to my in laws. But I wasn't surprised with the awesomeness or awfulness with either. My parents are super helpful and flexible when we are with them otherwise, so it was no shock that a week long vacation went great. My in laws...are generally unhelpful. They sleep in, they have no regard for the fact that C needs a nap, they do their own thing and in general we were either not hanging with them, or babysitting both.

@Mrs. Confetti: I could have written this exact post myself.
