It really is the worst.

I can't eat mashed potatoes for at least a week after that.

It's so gross. I'm going o need my second one soon...

My husband had awesome dental coverage but was switching jobs so I made sure to schedule all my dental work before the switch. When they gave me the novocaine half of my face went numb bc they hit a nerve (I couldn't blink my left eye and couldn't feel one side of my entire face). After a half hour and some face massage it resolved itself and my dentist wanted to reschedule the procedure but I made him go ahead bc I wanted the crowns covered by the dental insurance. I really hope I'll never need a crown ever again!

I had. my first two weeks ago. wearing the temp now.

@wheres_c: my dentist said it had never happened to him before but that some people have their nerves configured a little differently so it possible but rare. I was kind of scared at the time...it's kind of a funny story to tell now. I called my husband when it happened to see if I should reschedule or go ahead but he was in a meeting and all he could hear was that I had no feeling in half of my face...he drove to the dentist after his meeting all worried bc I missed his calls since I decided just to go ahead with the dental work

@chopsuey: seriously! It kills me thinking about how much all the dental work cost!
