I have never had a facial before but I have a gift certificate to get one. Have you had a facial before? Do you like them?
I am a little nervous about having someone all up in my face!

Yep! The Aveda school isn't far from where I live so mom and I will occasionally book appointments with the students for cheap!

I had one. It was nice, and I think if I'd kept going it would have been good for my skin. But I got all icky about chemicals, and don't feel comfortable with the products they use anymore.

2. Each as part of a spa day. One was super uncomfortable because I had a pimple that she was determined to destroy, but it was one of those awful deep painful ones that you can't pop. My eyes were watering it hurt so bad! the second one was better, I didn't have any pimples for the girl to go after.

yes! I find the facial/neck massage very relaxing. don't always love how they slather lotion all over, but my face always looks great afterwards!

Yup! I get them done on a regular basis (about every 3-4 months). I'm really selective about where I go, the place I always go now uses very gentle products. She does 2 different masks, steam, all sorts of oils and creams and gives me a scalp, upper back, neck, leg, foot and hand massage. This reminds me, I need to make an appointment!

I have a membership to massage envy and there have been months where I haven't gone so I've been thinking about using one of those on a facial. Haven't had one before though.

I've had a few of them. Very relaxing. I'd go more frequently if my skin was bad and I had the spare cash. I get one maybe once a year.

I loooooooooooooooooooove facials. I've only had a handful of them but you leave with skin as soft and clean as the day you were born. I try to get one in the spring/summer and then again in fall/winter.

i love facials! i find them super relaxing. i have a couple gift certificates and plan to use one after baby gets here for one
