Sometimes I hear "clicks" when I move LO a certain way or pick her up a certain way. Sort of like when my joints creak or crack. Is this normal?

Yep. And you'll probably think I'm totally crazy, but at the end of my pregnancy I sometimes heard little clicking noises, like a joint cracking! My husband thought I was nuts, but I occasionally hear clicks from him now, so maybe I'm not that nuts?

yup. mostly in his shoulders, elbows and sometimes hips. both DH and I are big joint crackers, so maybe it's genetic? I've never worried about it

@Pepper: I heard that with S! I told my midwife and she said she had never heard of it.

Yeah I often get cracks out of her back or shoulders especially when I pick her up

Yes but it was because of her hip dysplasia. I've never heard them from the rest of her body.

All the time. I click, too. I think that as long as it is not accompanied by pain, it's totally normal.

Yes! It's totally normal. I asked during her last visit and the ped says it's super common in babies...it's similar to us cracking our knuckles! Thank goodness because once she rolled over and I heard a crack and thought she dislocated her shoulder!

All the time! My older DS's joints would pop every time we moved him, especially his back! His back still pops when we pick him up. Glad to hear it happens to others!

Haven't heard it from my kids yet, but I remember clicking all the time when I was a kid!

Yes! And I get so nervous when I do. I'm staring at that body part to make sure it's okay. He doesn't look uncomfortable or in pain so I'm guessing he's okay. =\

Yep. Her spine cracks when I pick her up sometimes (like its being adjusted not like scary cracking!)
