This weekend we went to the mall and parked in the first spot in the row. We parked as close to the curb as possible, like usual, so if someone parked next to us, they weren't on top of us. We came back and found a van next to our car, OVER the line, 2" away from the back door. The door we put our child through to get her into her carseat. I was steaming mad. I left a note on their windshield letting them know how I felt about that...

No, I have never left a note. I always say I should but I don't have the guts.
I have seen those note pads where you can check off what they did wrong. It was always something I laughed about but I couldn't do it.

When I've hit someone. No ones ever called me back! I also left one when someone repeatedly parking in my reserved spot as a courtesy before having them towed. I don't really see the point in doing it to a stranger I'll never have a problem with again.

Yes, I was in a hurry to get to an exam in college and pulled into a parking spot too fast and hit a car. 
No one was there and I had to run to my exam so I left a note with my sincerest apologies, my name and number so they could call me for insurance purposes and whatnot - the damage on their car was pretty significant. Turns out it was a professor's car (not mine) but he called to say he wouldn't be collecting it via my insurance and that he would take care of it. Made my year!

Yes, when we saw a person hit a car in a parking lot... They got out and left their car still touching the other one! We wrote down their info since they actually dented the other car and we figured they might be gone before the owner of the hit car came back out.

Lol, yes! When I was @35 weeks pregnant with DS1, I went to a bookstore. When I got back to my car, a big work truck was parked so horribly and crooked in their space that I couldn't open my drivers door wide enough to get my big belly in my car. I waited for a bit and contemplated paging the guy in the store. I was so pissed off and just wanted to go home that I wrote a nasty note and left it on his windshield. . Then I climbed through the passenger door and scooted into my driver's seat.
Moral of the story... Park further away and get an end spot when you near the end of your pregnancy!

Yes, I saw a lady hit the rear fender of the car in front of her when she was parking. The car visibly shook so there's no way she didn't know. The car in front of her had a scratch on the bumper. When she got out she did not even bother checking! She just went on her way. It pissed me off so I went inside the building and asked for a pen and paper. I left a note on the driver side window with the cars license plate, explaining what I saw.

We've done it a couple times for people that just move to the area and don't know how to street park and take up multiple spaces.

A coworker parked so close to me, on my side, I couldn't get in. I had to climb through the passenger side while 7 months pregnant. I left a nasty gram
I also left someone a note at work who tailgated me in that he drives like an asshole and I would report him next time. We have video surveillance too lol

@Alba4: I had to get it through passenger side one time for a similar situation! And I saw the guy walking in from parking garage, thinking that guy just parked really close to my car. Once I got closer I was like what the hell? I literally can't get in! Pregnant or otherwise! If I had known earlierI would have yelled out to him.

I have-once when someone stole a spot I was going for and another time when I saw someone hit a car and keep driving. I saw this funny thing online of a coloring image you can put on a car that says "here's something to practice coloring in the lines since you have problems staying in the lines" or something to that effect for people who park poorly.

I used to leave notes for my ex all the time while he was at work. And then one time I left one for a car I hit when parallel parking. They never called me, though.

When I see my friend's cars at meetings but I don't see them, I love to leave sweet friend notes!
Our ped goes to our church and is a friend, I left a note on her windshield once (unsigned) just that we are blessed by her and to have a great day.

No, but I was on the receiving end of one. By mistake I parked in two spots in front of The Container Store. I felt so bad especially after seeing how congested the parking lot was. Now I always check to see if I'm straddling the lines.

I would only leave a note if I hit someone and couldn't find them. I guess I feel that there's enough negativity in the world already that I don't see the need to leave mean notes. I'd feel really bad as the receiver of a note like that and it's not like I could go back in time to change my bad parking job.

At an old job we had assigned parking spaces. Every once and a while, the same truck would be parked in mine. It wasn't *that* big of a deal, because there were a few un-assigned spots so I'd park there instead. But there was one morning that I was in a bad mood and wrote a nasty note and left it on the windshield. At the end of the day the car was still there with the note on the windshield...I thought better of it and took it back. I didn't want to find any mysterious scratches on my car, since parking was assigned

Yes. I was super pregnant and a HUMMER parked in a COMPACT spot next to my car, making it impossible for me to open the door to get it. I was livid.
