I haven't and I hope I never do!
I know a girl who's lost her son 3 times.. 
luckily she found him each time!
I would go crazy if I lost my Lo.

@chopsuey119: What do you mean by lost... is it, losing sight of your kid at the playground, then spotting him 10 seconds later? Or is it completely losing track of your kid, and picking them up at the police station?

@mrbee: not knowing where your kid has gone for a few mins/hours. At an amusement park, super market, mall, etc.
Wouldn't consider losing sight at a park losing your kid. -
@chopsuey119: Ok then, never. I've lost sight of Charlie twice for 5-10 seconds in recent weeks, as I'm not yet used to how fast he can move when he's motivated. Scary!!

I lost a student once. He had a tendency of running away when he didn't get what he wanted and would run further, faster, and more frequently if we chased him so every time it happened I just called his mom and she had to come find him. He would be blocks and blocks away sometimes. It's a very strange feeling to go against my better judgement and let this kid just run off and not try to even stay where I could see him.

My mom used to lose me all the time because as a kid I never listened and would always run off. It got to the point where she refused to take me in public anymore because of how naughty I was. I think she even used one of those child leashes on me because I was so unruly lol
I sincerely hope I don't have a child like me.

@Andrea: I think each time was for under 10 minutes. I would die if I couldn't see my Lo for a few secs too!
