I'm talking, middle of the night, you can't sleep and all you want to do is cuddle with your sleeping baby.
DD is out cold but I want so badly to just pick her up and cuddle with her while she sleeps. If I could bring her into our bed I soooo would but she won't sleep in our bed.
See? Out cold but clearly in need of Mommy snuggles right???

I've never had the urge to do this. However, when LO was really little and sleepin, DH and I would always say to each other "Want to go wake her up and play with her?" In the early days we would miss her so much when she was sleeping.

no, because he's never been a sleepy baby/child and most times he does not go down easy. so i don't want to jinx it after he's asleep. it would be nice though!

No way! DS is such a crappy sleeper, I figure That even if he is out cold I'll get to snuggle him soon enough. Like last night at 9 and 10:30 and then for the entire rest of the night... (Soory to use your question to vent

Yes! We've had to give him meds and nebulizer treatments during the night and he barely wakes up, so I steal extra snuggles. Sleeping kids are the sweetest.

I sometimes have to hold lo for hours to get her to sleep. Even so I miss her once she is! My dh and I have joked about going and getting her..... But never dared to do it. We're pretty obsessed.

Nope. But sometimes I sit on the floor next to his bed and watch him sleep (and if I know he's really deeply out I might stroke his head, but I usually don't dare).

Hellllllllllll no. lol. Never mess with a good thing. Sure I've looked at the monitor and thought "omg she is so cute I just want to hug her".... but she'll be up tomorrow and I can hug her then haha.

NEVER! But my kids have always been such light sleepers - they would wake up if I tried to pick them up for a snuggle and then would be hard to get back to sleep. But I've definitely wanted to!

Well no but I take pics all the time and touch her little squishy cheek, rub her back and tempt fate because she is so irresistible when she is sleeping!!
Also, though I am posting a day too late- I see your point---soooo cute----and would have told you to go for it. YOLO!!!

My friend or her husband pick up their 8 month old every night and snuggle him for about 10 mins before they sleep. He doesn't wake up!!

Ughhh yes!!!! But I know sleep is sooo important so in hold back the urge and look at pictures of her instead on my phone...lol

All the time! But M is such a heavy sleeper, she would sleep through almost anything. I go into her room every night and kiss her cheeks a million times, hold her hand, and just love on her lol. She is so angelic when she's sleeping!

Not anymore since she is a cranky toddler. I usually just go in and take a sleeping picture. She is a light sleeper so I don't want to face the aftermath of disturbing her sleep. We did this all the time during the early newborn days though, up until 5-6 months old. I could pick her up while asleep, kiss her and hold her in my arms, and put her back down in the crib and she would sleep through it all.

I never wake him up, but I totally let him sleep with me more at the slightest excuse or middle of the night wakeup while DH is gone. I know, I know, creating terrible habits, but he's in such mommy mode and so cute I can't help it at times.
