Yes. I went to RE dermatologist and she told me I had likely had a fever and then broke out in a rash after. It took a couple of weeks to clear up!

or contact dermatitis. Have you used a new laundry soap? anything new in your routine or diet?

Almost two years ago, when I was under a good bit of stress, I had acute hives for days. It started under my arms/on my neck and eventually spread everywhere. I had to be pretty medicated--steroids and antihistamines. They could never figure out exactly what caused it....I'm just assuming it was the stress/circumstances at the time.

This has happened to me once before and I still have nooooooooo idea what caused it. I just basically broke out into hives all over my body!!! I doused myself in hydrocortisone cream just to deal with it and it was gone the next day! No idea what was going on! Hope your rash clears up soon!!!

@chopsuey: I can't see it being the cheese, but you never know. I'm gonna say though that stress is known to cause hives and breakouts. See if benadryl helps. If you start getting shortness of breath and wheezing go to emerg,
